Is this compatible with a 1994 Ford 5? 8 efi?

It's set up to accommodate an eccentric fuel pump. It will work with your roller motor if you use either an electric or manual pump with the appropriate timing cover and eccentric. A fun fact is... My 87 5. On an EFI engine, the 0 HO included a Ford mechanical pump eccentric.

Is it possible to purchase only the chain? If that's the case, what's the number of links in the chain?

If you're not mechanically inclined, I'd recommend going with a different product because this cam chain AND gears need to be ground down quite a bit to avoid hitting metal on the block.

Heavy hitters! Nice!

This gear and chain set is a nice, sturdy product that should last a long time. After installation, there isn't a single mm of slack. I didn't realize it until I read the instructions that a small modification to the cam retainer is required when building a 351 Windsor, but it's not a big deal if you're building your own engine. The only reason for the lack of a five-star rating is because of this.

If you don't use the correct fuel pump eccentric, your timing chain cover will be ground. There were no problems with the timing that had been established.
