Prothane 1-502-BL Black 6 Cylinder Motor Mount Kit for Jeep YJ and TJ

Would have been better off putting these on a long time ago. I will highly recommend these to anyone looking to replace their mounts or who is not happy with the amount of shifter movement they have at the moment.

I installed the 0 I6 engine without any difficulty. Although the poly mounts transmit more vibration than the aluminum ones, especially at idle and low RPMs, the vibrations aren't enough for me to complain. This is a much more responsive power transmission, and the engine also starts and stops more smoothly. Fortunately, my exhaust is now properly aligned again and I won't have to worry about cracking my awesome APN header (or worse). As a bonus Adding extra vibrations to interior and exterior trim can aid in the detection of loose screws and bolts. Here is one tip for you It will be more difficult to line up the crosspins if your lift is higher with a transfer case drop, and the old motor mounts were cracked or destroyed. To lift the transmission, I used one bottle jack under the engine oil pan and another under the engine oil pan. As you loosen the tranny mount, you can raise the engine as well as the tranny to adapt to the height as well as the pivot angle. Make sure you use some scrap wood where the jack contacts which will prevent the engine from being damaged. It was a very easy and enjoyable process to install myself. I am very happy with the outcome.

It is easy to install and requires some break in. They have already traveled over 3000 miles which means you can feel a lot more vibration with these mounts. This is a very good.

I found it to be a really good fit for my 4 year old. A stroker with seven cylinders.
