We have a new i6 engine. When you have a 4, you should use it. These are a must-have upgrade for 0 WJ with more than 100k. A significant improvement has been made in throttle response. You will begin to move the Jeep the moment you step on the pedal. Installation is quite tricky (like all poly bushings, getting the old rubber and setting up all the hoses. . . When reinstalling the bushings, make sure you soap them up before pressing them into the old housing, they are tight and need to be cleaned.

To install these replacements, we burned off the old rubber and cut apart the old mount sleeve to get it in place. The vice and dawn soap we used were the only tools. It is necessary to use a cheater bar if you do not It's up and running now. I was experiencing near death wobble above 60 mph after I installed this system. Put vibration in place of wobble. It's a good trade for me. For 25 cents on sale, I got them. My luck has been good lately. Good product. I would buy it.

There is a claim that they will not fit a 4 cylinder Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, they are going to get there. There are a few things to take note of when installing them, but they are a direct fit and did not.

Installation was simple on my Jeep, but it was lengthy. Glad to hear that! For a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee I purchased this. I have no complaints about this product. A video of how to install it should be here, but if not, you can see the video on Youtube Taking out and installing the motor mounts in the engine bay was the most difficult part of this installation. You have to keep in mind that I had to remove the motor to accomplish this. If I had tried to install these while the motor was out, I would have been able to save some money. It's not going to do with the big v8 in my Jeep because the stock motor mounts won't work. It took them a very long time to wear out. I appreciate it.

Installing them requires a bit of patience, but they do work great

Once you get these installed (4 hrs later) you will be glad to know your engine will not jump around like before, great quality! But, installing these is not fun, you need a shop press and you need to reuse the old mounts metal housing as well.
