Questions & Answers
It's best to contact your dealer, who will be able to tell you which thermostat you have; some TSIs do, but the majority do not. Make a note of your vehicle's VIN number.

0t This is a fantastic piece of work. My 2006 VW Passat 2's check engine light (Code P2181) came on after I received a quote for $600 to replace my thermostat (sticking open coolant temp doesn't go above 165F). I finally made the decision to do it on my own. For the average mechanic, it's a lengthy job (mine took about 5 hours), but it's better than paying $600. Replace the temperature sensor while you're working on the thermostat; it'll be right there and you won't have to worry about it again. br> I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this part; for a less expensive alternative to oem, it looks and feels just like oem, and it is made in Italy rather than China.
The seam on a low-quality part leaked.
I would also recommend getting the temp sensor.
Work flawlessly.
On my Audi TT 2008, it works perfectly.
It's 0T and it's fantastic!.
