After a while, you should be warned. You can't see the dial because the glass is fogged up. God Bless! I thought it was overpriced junk!

My cap was only on for about 10 minutes - WHAMO! after waiting for the thermostat to open. The antifreeze poured up past the cap and into the street. Maybe I didn't secure the cap properly the first time, so I tried again, and the cap came to a halt at the radiator filler's first indents - It will not continue indefinitely. I rinsed it, rewrapped it, and returned it to Amazon. Amazon deserves praise for its excellent return policy.
It's nice, but it didn't quite fit right out of the box for me. To get it to go on and seal, I had to bend the thread tabs out and replace the gasket with a thinner factory gasket. ***UPDATE*** 11. br>br> 2020 It will be decommissioned in July of that year. The upper gasket that sits on top of the radiator neck began to look shredded, and it was beginning to come apart; it didn't fit right from the start, and it only lasted about 3 years, whereas I have used still functional factory caps that are 40 years old. I bought it because it was a cheap and simple way to add a temperature gauge to the hood, but I will not buy it again. For temperature and oil pressure, I installed two Auto Meter gauges on the firewall.
I only got a half turn because it didn't fit. I tried replacing the seal with one from my original, but it didn't work. It was a complete waste of both time and money. When my truck is hot, it doesn't even read.
It'll look great on a 94 Mustang V6. The red hoses I have on the engine now have a nice look thanks to 0L.
I really like the look and function of this device, and I would have given it five stars if it had been designed for the 1998-99 model year. It claims to be a 2004 Dodge Intrepid. If the thermometer does not have a direct fit to the radiator, it is unlikely to be accurate. The radiator cap is attached to the reservoir rather than the radiator, and the copper temperature of this product never comes into contact with the coolant unless it boils over.
I'm going to buy one for my other vintage Mustang.
It appeared to be in good condition, but the one I received leaked inside the gauge area as well as around the gasket area. Designed in China; I should've realized what I was getting myself into. I wish companies that outsource their products to China used quality control and held them accountable if they built a piece of junk.
