I'm not gonna lie, I expected these to require some kind of modification when they arrived. The shoes fit perfectly without any modifications or issues. The only thing wrong with mine was that it didn't come with instructions. They play very smooth, and although they are not as crisp as Pazzo or ASV, they are damn close at 1/3 the price. They exceed my expectations in terms of the build and color in that they feel like a real disc. The overall quality of these was really good for the price, especially when you compare them to other brands. Since I am just a casual weekend rider, these are perfect for me. No idea how they will hold up for running on the track or being out in the sun for long periods of time.
I purchased these for my son's 2007 R1 since he had stock levers and since my 2008 R1 came with Upon opening the boxes, the quality and craftsmanship is the same as my Pazzos for 1/4 of the price. If I looked at them, I probably couldn't tell the difference apart from the brand name. No instructions were included, but the installation is fairly straightforward.
You will need to remove the bushing from the clutch lever you are replacing and replace it with the new one. For access to the nut under the clutch lever, you will have to loosen the clamp holding the clutch lever to the handle bars. Mechanically challenged users should be able to install their systems in 30 minutes or less. Be careful to fit the front brake light switch into the new front brake lever, as we will need it. There is a switch on the clutch lever that is delicate as well.
The packaging is nice and the items look good. Easy to install in ten minutes. Being that it was from China, I received it relatively quickly. It's a bit of a concern how the colors fade, but we'll see how it goes.
Within a few minutes, I had these up and running. It is an extremely high-quality product that feels firm and nice to the touch. These are absolutely beautiful. I was shocked at their quality. In terms of color, they are pretty close to my forks.
Though I was expecting the blue to be too light, it turns out to be very close to the blue of a Yamaha. These levers are about an inch shorter than stock ones, look really good, and perform even better.
I typed in exactly what I wanted to search for them and it said they fitted my bike but they do not, the R6 and the R6S are different when it comes to these kinds of parts and I have some for the R6 that look great and I hope to find them soon. Although they were built, I just wish they were a better fit and I didn't have to go back through returning them and getting a replacement.
