For a sporty car, sporty brake pads are required
5/5

On the advice of a friend who is a mechanic in Kodiak, AK, I bought these for my 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR, along with EBC USR7409 series sport slotted rotors, stock calipers, and Michelin Super Sport tires. Pads and rotors were upgraded from stock. I'm in ecstasy right now. I've had them running for over 2000 miles and they're still incredibly responsive (my Scooby is my "play car," and it's driven quite aggressively). Things to keep in mind: br>br> br>There was no additional hardware/plates/etc. included with the pads. My friend informed me that these aren't really necessary and are typically included to help reduce noise, but that they can give the impression of being "spongier. " If you need replacements, you should order them together (calipers are usually included). However, this is not always the case; consult the caliper manufacturer for more information). br>These guys have a lot of brake dust, and I think I noticed it more because I painted my calipers bright pink and it was the first 1000 miles. br>The noise level is higher than stock equipment; however, I am not using any metal plates in the calipers, so this may change if you do. br>br>The auto fit checker on Amazon for the 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR (tuner ready) trim level is INCORRECT. This is the stock caliper replacement pad for this vehicle (the 2006 was available in two versions: WRX and WRX TR, both of which use the same calipers, rotors, and pads).

It's dusty, but it's got a lot of stopping power
5/5

They work great, with the exception of the minor squeak/squeal that they mentioned, which I liked because it reminded me of a race track; however, it went away after a few days of driving. However, be aware that these pads are extremely dusty, far more so than stock. So, if you don't have black rims, expect to do a lot of cleaning.

When it's hot, this is fantastic
5/5

I put these on my R32 GTR, yellows front and back, broke them in for a while before taking it to the track, and they worked great until the dot 4 brake fluid boiled after about 20 minutes of hard driving, but the pads kept grabbing hard. I'd buy them again. These are extremely dusty, so you'll have to scrub your rims more frequently.
