Yes, it's 3/8"br>Thank you, Vincebr>
I mounted mine in 3/4" plywood by shaving the depth down to about 3/8" with a large forstner bit, then cutting out the center with a smaller bit. It appears to be flush with the wall.

It turned out to be more effective than I had anticipated. With a minimal amount of die-cutting It only took a minute or two to grind out a body floor drain hole. The insulator is hard plastic, with a 3/8" brass bolt lug. The insulator is threaded with a lock nut and has flats to keep the connector from turning in the hole as the lock nut is tightened or loosened. That's why I went with a die-cut design. Only widen the hole where the threads are by using a grinder. The hole was identical to the flats in size.
Works as advertised; the center stud moves longitudinally and twists a little, but otherwise it's a good product; I used needle-nose pliers to install it. To tighten the outside ring, use nose pliers (I'm sure there's a better tool for this, but whatever).
These are fantastic. Perfect for installing a secondary battery in my Land Cruiser. These terminals were the ideal solution for keeping the connections to the dual battery solenoid in the back fender weather resistant.
Handy.
Panel connectors perform as expected and have caused me no problems in one of the world's two foggiest cities. The heaviest cable you'll need is carried by these connectors. However, because these are only available in one size, you'll have to attach the cable ends yourself. It's a good product that does exactly what it's supposed to do and hasn't caused any issues.
Good fit.
Excellent value for moneybr>Quick delivery.
For getting through a bulkhead/firewall, these are exactly what the doctor ordered. These are something I'd recommend to anyone looking to put together a nice installation.
