Questions & Answers

The Amazon item description clearly states that it will not work with your 2014 FLHTK. Does anyone have experience with it in an ultra six ?

I am not sure why it says that since it is a transmission oil, and I know it is not model specific. If your manual does not tell you how much you need in ounces, check it. If you are replacing fluids, make sure you order enough of them. For 2014, I included this in my triathlon plan I used the Glide Ultra and it made shifting easier and it quietened An old friend of mine who has a 2014 softtail mentioned it and he said that really made his monster less noisy. This is the engine and transmission that I have been using in my tranny for over 1000 miles with no issues. It is a stock 103 cubic inch engine and Please refer to your manual for guidelines. If you work on your bike much, purchasing a shop manual will make a world of difference. br>On the transmission fluid, remember to put the drain plug back in when you drain it. Using a measuring cup and following Harley-Davidson's shop manual, it is recommended that you do not put in the entire amount at once. Put it in gradually, let it settle, then check the level, and if necessary There will still be some oil inside which you must remove carefully. Do not overfill as there will still be some residual oil left behind. In this case, you probably need to check with the store who sells it to find out why it wouldn't It is my hope that this will help you keep the 'shiny side up'. I am Brews72727*

Is there a reason it shows no fit for 2014 FLHXS?

It's not clear. The Redline products I use with my 2011 Ultra are all from Redline. I know someone with a 2015 who was told by the DEALER not to use Redline lubricants. I think it's just HD lubricants they want. As the transmission oil is heavier than HD sync 20I like it a lot

Anyone notice any change in the noise coming from a Harley 6 speed? Is that applicable to any model that was manufactured in 2007?

My '17 Harley SGS has a 6 spd transmission, so I use this. From neutral to first gear at a stop it smoothly shifts into gear almost silently. It noticeably quiets down the "clunk" into first gear while moving under 10 mph. I am pleased with the quality of the shifting. As this is my very first Harley, I can't compare it to other Harleys although I am quite pleased with the product. I mean it's pink and stinky so it's got to be good.

What is the point of having ?

There was only one that I needed for the 2012 Road Glide.

You need this if you want to run Having used this oil for many years in my big twin, I find it to be very efficient
5/5

As a result of the superior performance, many of my friends have converted over. Here are two ways in which the olive oil we use is superior to You can hear the valve train clicking, even at highway speeds, making you think something else is wrong the first time you ride it after the switch. Thirdly, the There are no metal shavings to accumulate.

The mobile device Ages 50 and up and 70 and up In 2014, I tried 140 for 3 holes on the road king, and they work okay, but I'm not satisfied with the results
5/5

I then compared synthetic 70-s to 140. Phone number 140, mobile number 20 Ages 50 and up and 70 and up With this Red line oil, I definitely felt the difference in the smoothness of the ride. I also bought a Red line oil for the primary component and liked the shifting. I use rekluse clutch for transmission work and Red line oil for the primary component. It is a very good oil, as I said in this review. I flushed out my Lucas and Mobile just to test it. The next experiment I want to run is to flush Red line 20- replace 50 with Blue line 20- Post will be made as soon as I change the.

Everything seems to be going smoothly
5/5

The dyno I used for the 3 hole change was Redline. Everything seems to be going smoothly. I just used Redline Transmission Oil/Redline Primary Oil and Castrol Power1 engine oil in a 3 hole change This is the twin (2017 SGS). I noticed the truck shifts smoothly (within 80 miles). There is no clunk going into 1st gear. It smells funky and looks good (Pink, "frothy" and a deep gear oil smell), but otherwise I am thoroughly satisfied. What would motivate someone to put 20-plus It's beyond my understanding to put 50 motor oil in the tranny hole, rather use this.

There is almost no clunk when changing from first to second gear
5/5

My streetglide has been running this trans lube for a couple years now with no issues. I've done long 8+ hour days of riding in 95 degrees without discoloration of the trans lube (trans lube shouldn't discolor over time with my buddy who owns a race shop and he told me that is all his race bikes are equipped with. This has the added benefit of allowing him to quickly diagnose whether a leak is coming from a tranny due to the pink color of the lube. I would say that this stuff looks like pepto-bismol pink Bismol makes me LOL. Even though it's expensive, one quart will usually fill a gearbox and the one quart is a lot cheaper than buying a new box.

After using this, you won't want to use anything else

I like this stuff very much. It's a lubricant nut for me, and I experiment with high end labs before using them for Amsoil, Mobil 1 as well as Dino's and other synthetics are all products I have tried. Making this small change can make a big difference in shifting, and noise. Not to mention the arrest of the wear. As a side note, I use Amsoil 10w-40 In the Primary, 40 motorcycles are present. As a result, the clutch plates get less dragged, and the clutch engagement is often more precise. Even though I have not tried Red Line as a This combination has been very satisfying for me. Yes, I have Amsoil in my engine, as well as Mobil 1 dropped the engine temps by about 20 F over regular fuel. 95ci HD Deluxe Edition.

Worked well for what it was designed to do
4/5

I find it to work very well with It is twin. Whenever you use this transmission fluid, stay with it for at least two weeks That's it. A Harley Davidson is known to have some difficulty with removing used fluids. Continues to drip after hours of rain Hours are needed to get rid of the old because the bike needs to be angled multiple times. When new goes in, it does not have much of an offensive odor, but when used comes out, the odor is extremely offensive. The only problem I have with it is that. Once a year (normally when I do 3500 miles), I change the transmission fluid, and I do five minutes of warm up before I ride. Drain after 10 minutes on a short spin. This is my view of the matter.

I give it five stars

Additions made on 9/10/17 *Works as expected It showed no wear at 5000 miles when it was checked! I still have a very thick and red skin. In fact, I'm using this on two bikes, and I'm amazed at how well it Easy shifting without noise, even reduced the initial klunk in the first gear on my fat boy and eliminated the whine in my 5th gear-a noticeable difference in my Road Glide. Highly recommend this product, it costs more than HD's oil, but out performs it. *Added on August 21st, 2018 Just had a 3 hole oil change on my '17 Road Glide after using this product for over a year. I have 36,500 miles on it. Despite the 3 changes in 3 months, the magnetic drain plug has been completely clean. use this oil on all my HD motorcycles (and recommend it to all my friends).

Shifting remains the same and oil burning smell stays the same
3/5

Bel- after 25K miles To switch out my transmission oil, I wanted to talk to you. The Bel- was fine with shifting A bit clunky, the shifting of the sounds was annoying. Ray is still good, but not quite as smooth as I'd like. From HD forums and reviews I decided to give Red Line a try. From the start, I didn't find any differences between the Bel-Air and the Red Line The author. There was certainly a burning oil smell to it from the very beginning, as other reviewers pointed out. Having ridden over 400 miles with this oil, I am satisfied with its performance. My plan is to replace it with Spectro in a few days. Once I have driven 400 miles on the new tires, I will publish a review.
