It's a yes in a nutshell. The MERCON SP was used by Ford from 2003 until 2008. The company switched to MERCON LV about a few years ago and stopped producing it. It didn't work out so well, a lot of people had transmission problems. This was never the case for me. There has been a return of SP production, but the dealership does not sell Both of my F250s are gas, and my 05 diesel is 6 liter diesel. As you do, 0 is 0 as well. MERCON SP is my sole application, and I purchase it from Amazon only.
Do a search for '2010 F250 transmission fluid'. I am sure you will find that it has a 5R110w transmission and that it uses Mercon LV fluid. Also, you will probably find that Mercon LV has replaced Mercon SP, so SP should not be used when LV can be used. The result of such a discussion will be opposing opinions concerning the safety of using SP. If necessary, follow what your Ford manual tells you to do.
A manual indicates I should use this transmission because I have an 07 F350 with the same transmission. It has never caused me any problems in years of using it.

It is good to get a case shipped on Prime for such a low price. I had sticker shock when I saw the $25 price tag on the ZF LG6 fluid. It uses XX per quart prime. I used the Mercon SP service fluid for the pan drop and rollover repair on my 2009 135i with ZF GA6HP19Z transmission. Rather than renaming factory "lifetime" fluid as "lease period" fluid, we should refer to it as "lease period" fluid. The transmission shifted well, but the fluid in the transmission was very dirty. I replaced the transmission fluid after 87k miles, being the first owner to perform the required maintenance. Hence, a full range of services was required. To improve my concentration of friction modifiers, I was able to refill the case after the pan was dropped and drain and fill one more time. far, trans is reacting well and no adverse effects have been observed. This combination along with the transmission pan and bolt kit found on Amazon will save you quite a bit of money.
In spite of some debates, I have no doubt that this is an exact substitute for the up to $35/liter ZF Lifegaurd 6 fluid, which I used in my '04 Jaguar. I read the Jaguar forums extensively and knew this was the right one. This is only different because it's red, like trans fluid is always supposed to be. The price is only 1/5 what it was. I only have a few words to say about it, but it meets the specifications for my vehicle. Shipping is the only thing that must be paid for. The outside cardboard box of the package had some oil on it when I received it It has a few soaked spots. When I tore off the outer cover, I discovered the inside manufacturer's box was about to crumble due to fluid immersion. In one bottle, the cap had been opened about 3/4 turn and about two ounces of fluid had been lost. About a half turn of the cap of another bottle showed that it was open, and about an ounce of fluid was missing. In this case, there is no reason. While I still have more than enough for my projects, the mess was a mess, and it smelled terrible as well.
I discovered that transmission shifting improved after changing the fluid, so I must say, this is good stuff!.

There is no other transmission oil I would use in a Ford 6 other than this one. Replace oil only if it has been contaminated with another type of oil. This oil is recommended for automatic transmissions.
