Questions & Answers

In terms of weight, how much oil is actually in there?

Generally speaking, Honda MTF II 7 is well made. Note All viscosities are measured at 100C/212F in cSt. stated, this amounts to ten weeks of work The engine oil should be 30w or the gearbox oil should be 75w. It is easy to see that the scales of viscosity are different. There are seven of them. A centistokes unit 1 cSt is the same as one mm2 per second multiplied by one second and one second divided by ten. I am not a physicist, so I'm not sure this is clear as mud. The problem with Honda is that it is a bit of a fuddle when considering additive packages when it comes to engine or other oils. In order to protect the brass components of your synchros, you need to make a few additional additions. As far as I can tell, Honda is closer to the GLS 3. However, it may not be exact. As far as possible, I recommend Honda fluid.

What is the recommended amount of gas to fill my 2012 Honda Civic Si 6 speed manual? It was a pleasure doing business with ?

Hey, I just bought a quart of oil for my Honda Civic 2001, but my mechanic told me we should have bought Thus, in Honda forums it says for your 2012 Civic you need two. Each quart contains five litres of liquid. Thank you for your time and consideration.

What if I want to use this for my 08 Honda Civic Ex? Would you mind if I thanked ?

It depends on whether the transmission is a manual, standard, or stick shift.

Can this Genuine Honda Fluid 08798-05 be used in Honda vehicles Can I use 9031 Manual Transmission Fluid on a 1999 Civic?

Yes, I expect about a bottle and a half to do the trick

The Honda Civic EX is a manual transmission model (2006 - 2008)
5/5

Two weeks later, the price had gone up. It was a good purchase but I noticed the price had gone up. I used to have a bit of noise in my transmission, but now it is much quieter. The transmission of my used car started to make noise after I bought it. I took it to my mechanic and he checked the fluid, and he said there was gear oil in it and no After flushing it with Honda MT fluid, he advised that the Honda needs to be cleaned with Having driven the car for a few hundred miles to assist in getting the dirty gear oil out, he suggested for me to flush it again after driving another hundred miles. I did exactly that, and bought some gear oil on Amazon just for that purpose. This time around, I'm extremely glad I did because it made a big In the future, I will change the flush every 30k.

There's no doubt about it

The following is some information I found on here that is not true It is not suitable for Honda transmissions to use gear oil. From 10w to This oil replaces the 30 motor oil that was used on older Hondas before this one became available. There are a number of benefits to using this fluid over It is not mandatory to have a Honda motorcycle.

Honda manual transmission fluid is the only fluid that should ever be used
5/5

If you care about your Honda, then there is only one fluid that you should use in the manual transmission! For those who want to do it themselves, make sure your car is on a level surface and use a funnel with a tube to pour this into the filler hole on your transmission you'll know its full once it starts dripping out the side.

From my humble vantage point, it is the best
5/5

I have been "tinkering" with transmission fluids for many decades and have concluded that Honda fluid is the best for any manual transmission (no, haven't tried it in transmissions made by all manufacturers). Apparently provides the best friction for the syncros, protects the gears at any temperature and is designed to give the best friction. Every car I've owned has been a manual, and all my current cars have been, or are, While I have experimented with a lot of different fluids, including engine oil, this Honda fluid seems to be the best all around for manual transmission usage.

After more than 50,000 miles and almost 5 years of service, the vehicle is clean and clear
5/5

The last time I bought a car was four years ago. The last time we changed the oil was five years ago. The car is a 1. It has the civic lx engine. The engine is a 7L and the transmission is manual. In my car, I've driven about 50,000 miles, and after the axle broke, I decided to change the transmission oil. I found that the fluid that was pulled from the transmission 4 years ago was just as clear and as clean as the old fluid that went into the transmission. Aside from the lack of metal flakes and burnt smell, the fluid was still viscous and looked brand cannot speak much for the other products, but this one has worked well for me, and I plan on using it for a long time.

We only sell genuine Honda Worked great for me
5/5

My manual transmission fluid was low so I had been driving around without it. With 330,000 miles on my old 98 civic, I added 2 quarts of fluid and it is now running better than ever. It's better to verify with your local retailer if they have it in stock at a cheaper price before ordering from Amazon. I was able to get it from the dealer for a few bucks less.

I just want to say what's there to say about OEM Honda
5/5

Honda intended for you to use what they I work in motor oil, I work in auto fuel, etc.
Why would you risk your safety by messing around with such simple things? Do the job correctly the first time and buy the right stuff.
