Sta-Lube SL3151 Super White Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease - 14 wt. oz.

In the past few years I've been using sprays (both silicone and lithium) and they work, but they don't last very long (3 months at most) and a lot of extra spray is wasted. I would regularly grease the garage door opener at about 2 months mark when the clinking sounds would begin to occur. The sounds progressively became worse until there was so much clinking that I needed to As of now, it has been almost 2 months since I installed the new lithium grease and the garage door opener sounds solid with no hint of clinking. As a result, rather than spend a small fortune on a grease gun, I got this tub of grease and these 1 inch chip brushes (I'll put a link to them below). I used a chip brush as a brush, and I put it at the end of a piece of PVC pipe (I think it was 3/4") so I could paint My garage door now sounds great after I repeated the procedure twice, and it only cost me less than $20 to do it. An old man. They are separated. There is a distinct smell difference between my old and new cans. I tried to mix it up, but it wouldn't work. That was just a waste of grease.
I'm not sure I can trust this grease. My old can has run out, so I have to open the new one now. A delivery was made on March 24. As soon as I opened the seal, I should have cracked it. I guess I have to take responsibility for this. I am pleased with the condition of the outer can.

The consistency is nice and it doesn't leak or clog. The substance will make the surface slippery and remain there. Once the heat finally hits central Texas, there will be some sturdiness to it.

This is what I got for my snowblower. As a mechanic, I have no idea what kind of grease it is but it seems reasonable. One star was docked to my container since the lid was missing. The same thing happened to a few other reviewers. That makes me wonder if the company has a quality control department.

My original intention was to use this patterning board as a shooting range patterning board. Covers / coats like I expected, turns yellow in the sun, and does not cover it. As I did not use it for that purpose, I cannot speak to its lubricating properties.

For servicing bicycles, this is a great light grease. The tub allows the user to dip their finger into it to get the exact amount needed.
