How does this product stand up to high temperatures, and high RPMs? Can both be done and if so, what is the threshold?

In a 12" diameter diameter, the highest temperature recorded was 105F. It is in first gear at 50 rpm. I was pleased with the results.

Grease for open gears is great

I've been using this to secure the open gears on my lathe and it keeps its shape There has been a significant improvement in the noise level of my lathe. When I bought it, I didn't realize that a caulking gun was needed to apply If you use it for the first time, it will feel like tar thickness so do not be shocked.

This will work great with snowblower gear! The Lubriplate web page gave me information on the best lube to use with our snow blower

I had reached my goal! As the lube on the snowblower transmission remains on the open gears, it sticks. Oils and lubes don't drip or smear as they do with other lubricants. Thanks for this info. I'm glad I found it.

Actually I use it as a kind of super thick heavy lubricant to coat the springs of my airguns to reduce twang when I rebuild them. I think this tube is similar in size to 100 containers of magic tar at $10 a piece, and it's.
