I've used it on caliper guide pins and the rubber boots haven't swelled as a result. My brakes are serviced once a year, so it's not a big deal.
It's made up of oils that are synthesized.
One can last for a long time, even more than ten brake jobs. It was only on the slide pins and the backs of the pads that I used it. any other metal to metal conversion

On a Toyota Sequoia, I used this product to replace the rear brakes. The product was simple to use; however, avoid getting any on the rotor or brake pad. It appears to work well so far, with no squeaks, chatter, or other unusual noises coming from the brake assemblies after 1,000 miles.
You could do all four with one package if you wanted to save money, but when I did my brakes, I always went overboard and used one pouch per corner. br>br>When installing, make sure you don't get any on the braking surfaces, such as the pad or rotor surface. If any grease gets on those surfaces, I recommend cleaning them with brake cleaner.
What else can I say? It's brake lubricant. Actually, it works great, and I had no problems with it when I used it on my 2002 Beetle's brakes. Although it was a little more expensive than my local auto parts store, I chose it because it was in stock (which is often a problem in my area) and I was purchasing other brake-related items. On Amazon, you can find related parts that are well worth the money.
It's fantastic! The braking system is silent.
2 packets are enough to lubricate caliper pins, rear of pads, and other parts of my Mustang on all four corners. However, because this was my first brake job, I made a mistake and used it on a few parts that I didn't need and then cleaned them off. This is where coffee filter alcohol comes in handy. I was fortunate in that I had ordered extra packets. There's nothing wrong with the product; just make sure you have enough because two packets isn't enough. much- There's enough space for a blunder.
I recently replaced my brake pads, but they were lacking in lubrication. Permatex is a well-known brand, and their brake fluid performed admirably. There isn't a squeal or a tremor. If you're doing a brake job, you'll need lubricant, and you might not have enough with the new parts. This is a great lubricant to use. With PERMATEX products, you cannot go wrong.
the one.
Whether you're using cheap pads or the best ceramic pads, this is the lube to use.
