The orange color of this DEXCOOL comes from the 100% pure dextrose from the jug. The product becomes pink/red when mixed with distilled water, so I put this in my car when I dilute it with distilled water 50/50. It is important to check your car's owners manual to find out what kind of coolant you need and how much dilution to use.
The item does not fit in the 1978 C15 GMC To use green ethylene glycol, you would need it.
Certainly if your coolant is orange, then Dex Cool is what you need. In the past several years I have been playing with my 91 Mustang Turbocharged and all GM Sports Cars, but I haven't seen a 1997 Camaro in a long time. As far as rear view mirrors go, I've got to say GM Sports Cars look great. I have a problem in that they fade away so quickly whenever I look at them. It has been a long time since then. It's once again the time of the vipers.
There is no additive to this product. No premix (not pre-mixed).

I'm going to use the factory fluid that came with my Silverado, it was a few bucks more expensive than the other brands, but I have no doubt it's going to work with the old motor. A head gasket needs to be changed every 100,000 miles, so why take a chance on rusted gaskets or anything else which could fail.
This is just what my car needed. I appreciate the speedy delivery.
