Questions & Answers
In addition to this product, ELC types of coolants may also be mixed. Diluting and/or mixing it with other non-nutritive materials is not advised Coolants that are equivalent to it can reduce or eliminate its extended life properties.
You're both right. The sum of one gallon of distilled water and one gallon of ELC will equal two gallons of antifreeze.
Aim to concentrate
This is safe, in my opinion. A lot of people opt for the Cat EC1 rating, which is essentially the Rotella ELC rating. The nitrite-free version is geared toward newer diesels with lots of aluminum and is effective at preventing hot spots from boiling in places like an EGR cooler. This NF should be sufficient as long as you do a complete flush and make sure the old coolant is gone.

There is too much at stake for this stuff to be accidentally leaked A 2005 F350 6 is being towed. There is only one Dual. I changed to this stuff according to my research, because this stuff is specifically designed for infrared cooling systems found on newer trucks Some of the newer diesels are running a little hotter than the older ones. It should do just fine in the 6 if it's good enough for all that. A cooler fitted with an egr does not cause a flash boil.
My depleted powerstroke radiator needed to be filled with new fluid, so I ended up purchasing this.
