I'd say it's thicker than Marvel, as far as I recall. However, it is not particularly dense. I should also mention that it had no effect on my valve train.
OK, I put two cans in my Ferrari, which holds 12 quarts, and they work very well at quieting down the lifters. I put one and a half cans in my Mercedes, which has a capacity of about 9 quarts. It performs admirably in the Mercedes, where I have a small lifter tick. I have a Dodge Diesel Pickup that has a capacity of about 10 quarts, which I fill with one can. Other Liqui Moly products, as well as my vehicles, are used by me. Use one can for 6 people, according to the instructions. It's not a good idea to make 3 quarts with more mix than is recommended. I'd invest in some Liqui Moly products, such as the engine flush. I recommend flushing the engine thoroughly to remove sludge and blockages in the oil passageways, then adding the proper mix for best results. It eliminates my tick in my Mercedes and greatly reduces the noise in my other vehicles. If your car has a small oil tank, two cans may be excessive. I hope this has been of assistance.
Yes, and it was a failure. If your lifter makes a slight noise when you start it up, try changing the oil and filter with Redline oil and a royal purple filter. This helped for a while, but now the lifters need to be replaced. With a slight lifter noise, it might work, so give it a shot.

I used this to try to free up a stuck lifter in my 2001 BMW 325CI that had been ticking for 5 years, and believe me, I tried a lot of different solutions to fix it and nothing ever worked. I immediately noticed that it appeared to work. The noise changed from continuous to intermittent almost instantly. I used a few cans over a month (my car also burns oil at 270,000 miles) and finally the bad lifter is almost perfect. Perhaps once a week I hear it a bit% With every oil change, you should apply friction oil. It's a miracle that this product worked at all. To keep this vehicle running smoothly, I've invested a significant amount of money (it's a convertible, and it's a dream to drive in San Diego). It sounded like it was breaking down to the bad lifer.
I've had this stuff in my engine for the past 3000 miles and it doesn't appear to have done anything. Now that I'm approaching my next oil change, I'm thinking about switching to Lucas. I understand that some lifters will not come down no matter what you add to the oil and will need to be replaced, but in my experience, if a lifter comes down after the engine has warmed up, the seals aren't so bad that an additive will not help if you get a good additive, which is exactly what my engine requires. Furthermore, if a lifter collapses to the point where it becomes extremely loud, the engine will miss severely if it is on the intake side, which my engine does not do. A light tapping from a cold lifter can usually be cured with a good additive; I'll stick with Lucas because I've always had good results with it.
Any one of the Liqui Moly additives is well worth the money. My Dodge Ram, which has a lot of miles on it, has valve tapping that makes it sound like a diesel (even though it's not). I patiently awaited its arrival, and it was well worth the wait. The engine stopped sounding like a diesel after a few hours of driving, and the valve tapping has completely disappeared. I've got around 1500 miles of tap-in so far. There is no charge for driving. Other products that I use during oil changes are also a personal favorite of mine. This is the genuine article. Added 1. During my last oil change, I applied 5 bottles to my 04' E55, and the lifters were noticeably quieter. Since this is essentially a viscosity modifier with detergent, I'm curious if there will be any long-term effects, but so far there have been none.
So, I own a Buick Century from the year 2003. The obnoxious three It used to make a pleasant tapping noise that would last until it warmed up, then fade away. However, when the oil was changed, the noise became louder and did not go away completely or even significantly. I switched to a thicker oil and treated it with Lucas oil treatment. It all started at that point. So I placed an order for this product and resumed my normal 5w/30 regimen. When I first started, it would suddenly start tapping and then go away almost completely. I'm not sure if it was the thinner oil or a combination of that and moly that caused the problem. I won't know until I change my oil without moly once more. However, just in case, I purchased a backup bottle. Plan on performing a routine oil change to see if the noise returns. In any case, I'll keep you updated. But, for the time being, it appears to be doing something, I believe. For those who don't know what the gm 3 is, it's a three-dimensional model. 1 and 3. The tapping noise on number four was normal. Either the lifter or the piston had to be snatched. As a result, there was no damage to the engine, and it was still running. But for a brief moment, I believed it.
I could sense it in the intake manifold because it was loud enough. But after changing the oil, adding the bottle, and starting the engine, there was no difference after letting it idle for 10 minutes. It appeared to be a failure to me. Despite the fact that this product has received a variety of reviews ranging from 2 to 5 stars, I must say that it worked in my wife's 2004 Trailblazer. Almost all of the tappet noise has vanished. My cars, on the other hand, are well-maintained by me. I bought this car from a lady who claimed it had been well maintained and was a local vehicle, but she was lying. I've fixed almost everything on this car except the tappet noise, which was driving me crazy. I chose this over an overhaul, which would have cost more than the car was worth. It worked perfectly. br>Here's what I think: Get rid of it if the cost of repairs exceeds the car's value. It still looks great and performs well as a daily driver after just over $4,800 invested and two years of use.
This is what I used in my 1993 Mazda B2600i, which has nearly 250k miles on it. During my four years of ownership, the truck has always made lifter noise on startup, but it goes away once it reaches operating temperature. This additive appeared to hasten the removal of lifter noise while also removing a significant amount of grime from the oiling system passages. The oil remained clear and had a honey-like flavor. Despite the fact that it had been 3k miles since the last oil change, the engine became colored after adding the lifter additive. Following the use of this product as a flush - After about 300 miles of driving with the additive in the crankcase, change the oil - Because the drained oil was filthy, I'm hoping the effects will last through the new oil change.
