Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use them on a motorcycle (on the road) as well?

No, for the speeds at which motorcycles travel on the road, CE Level II or at the very least Level I knee protectors are far safer. Check out the new D30 material, which hardens on impact and is available in CE Level II as well, if you're looking for soft and flexible knee protectors.

Is there a pair of these?

Yes, there are two of them. These knee pads, along with the elbow pads (which are sold separately), are the most comfortable I've tried.

What's the state of the padding on the sides of your knees? (I have a habit of dropping my bike's legs)?

These have a decent amount of padding on the sides. I'm sure they're padded better than the majority. At least all of the different styles I've tried and bought in the last two years.

Is there a difference between the knee pads on the right and left sides?

They come in a set of two. Both the left and right knees are involved. The knee guard shows which way is right or left. This is a fantastic product.

Pricey
5/5

BUT IT WAS PERFECT! To begin with, these pads are quite costly! However, after spending over $100 on the other knee pads I "tried," these are now my go-to pair. to pair. In addition, while I do not use these for cycling, they are ideal for electric skateboarding. They don't alter your appearance to make you look like RoboCop or the half-human half-human half-human half-human half-human half-human half-human half- (I'm 180 pounds with a medium build and chose L XL. ) pipe street skater, they fit my knees perfectly. ) The hard shell pads that are built into the kneecaps are a nice touch. However, you can't tell they're made of plastic. There are also small paddings in key areas for added security. They fit perfectly in terms of fit, with soft breathable stretchy material and a single Velcro adjuster in the upper top back, as well as upper and lower "sticky" bands to keep them in place. These do not move up and down. After a while, you tend to forget they're on - They're comfortable and well-made; the only problem is that they won't slide over your shoes to put them on because of the tight fit. I don't think they'd look good with a pair of jeans, either. I'm pleased with my purchase; I got exactly what I paid for, and I only wish I had discovered these sooner.

It's been tried and true
5/5

Prior to landing on the Leatt 6, I had tried out a few different types of armor. Knee Guards are not required. br>I've had the misfortune of falling in these off-road situations as well. They are successful. Advantages: br>br> They have a lot of adjustability, and the armor is extremely strong and thick. They also have a sticky lining on the inside that keeps them from sliding around and staying on your skin even when you sweat. The above-the-knee area has a comfortable Velcro strap that allows you to adjust the tension. br>I can wear them under my off-duty outfits with ease. Klim Dakar pants for the road. However, I'm not sure how they'd fit under a pair of super-tight pants. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. It's possible that they'll get too hot. However, this is only true in extremely humid conditions. You'll understand what I'm talking about if you're from the Midwest. Overall, I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a reliable knee protector for both on and off-road riding.

Surprisingly comfortable and provides excellent coverage
5/5

My first official fall on an eBike would have been a few scratches if I had bought these armor first. But I'm glad this fits me well because I have horse legs from years of riding and must always wear baggy pants and shorts. br>br>You shouldn't pull on the mesh area anyway, as I've heard of people complaining about them ripping easily. So far, no problems have arisen. Also from Leatt, I purchased elbow pads. They're very comfortable, and I don't sweat nearly as much in them as I do in my other shoes. br>br>Because Leatt appears to produce high-quality goods, cost was not an issue. Their goggles are also in my possession. br>br>It's well worth the money, and it reduces your chances of getting bruised and road rash knees like the last time.

For everyday trail riding, these knee pads are ideal
5/5

I bought these for riding my dirt bike, and based on the sizing chart, I figured I could go either way, so I went with the L/XL, figuring that my riding boots would be tall enough to hold them up even if they weren't that snug. This appeared to be a perfect solution. I can honestly say that after my first ride, I didn't even notice they were on. I didn't realize I was wearing them until I was changing at the end of the ride; I haven't taken a hard hit in them yet, but they appear to be adequate for everyday trail riding. Hard shell protection would be my choice if I were racing or riding aggressively.

Pads that are the best These are fantastic pads
5/5

I've gone through a couple of different sets. Dakin, G- as well as a couple of others The material on these appears to be of high quality, and there is also protection around the thigh. My Leatt pads have made me very happy.

Pads are fantastic
5/5

I wear these pads on almost every trail ride because they're so comfortable that they seem to vanish while I'm riding and I don't even notice them. During long climbs, I don't mind them at all, and even though they're a little warm, the extra heat doesn't bother me. The pads are held in place very well by the wide rubber piece that rests against the thigh and the calf band. I don't tighten the thigh strap very much because the pads are already filled to the brim. After a sweaty 10-mile ride, they dropped a smidgeon, but not significantly. br>br>A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to crash test them. I didn't feel much when I landed on the outside/front of my left knee. During the crash, the pads remained securely in place. These are fantastic pads, and I'll be purchasing more when they wear out.

Excellent protection at a low weight
5/5

The fact that these stay in place so well astounded and delighted me! br>Instead of ordering the L, I went with a size smaller than the size chart suggested (s/m). br>Even after 2 hours of trail riding and walking around, they have remained firmly in place.

Stick to the size chart and don't go down a size! The pads appear to be of a high standard
3/5

My measurements place me on the small side of the lg/xl range. I went with the advice of other reviewers and ordered a s/m size down. It was a bad idea because the space was too small. I had to send them back. Hopefully, the larger size will be sufficient. I stand 6 feet tall and weigh 165 pounds.
