Motorcycles have been my passion for almost 50 years and I have worked in the motorsports (motorcycle) industry for over 35. Over the years I have had a few mishaps with my motorcycles, and I have seen a number of injuries that could have been avoided or lessened with the right gear and protection. Consequently, I always wear the proper safety gear whenever I ride. Although I may have been able to fit into a Large, I'm not sure I'll fit into an Extra-Large Having a large shirt gives me the option of wearing over a thin shirt or adjusting out to fit over heavier clothing during My first impression after fitting the jacket was that the jacket was very comfortable, I could adjust it to fit, and all of the protective padding seemed very solidly placed in all vital areas that would normally be disrupted My motorcycle and UTV (side x side) armor is very sturdy and flexible, so I don't feel any binding when I'm riding my motorcycle or driving a UTV. The jacket is also light and breathes well, even with all its padding. It is hoped that I never have to experience how well the protection works, but even if I do, the peace of mind knowing that it provides is well worth the purchase price. You should be careful when using the Velcro on this jacket because it is extra sticky. Make sure you take your time breaking the hook if it gets caught on the mesh portion of the jacket. So let's just say I put this body armor "to use"
Recently I was riding my dirt bike when I couldn't make it up a steep hill and long story short, I tumbled several times down a hill covered with sharp rocks. Only one major injury was sustained as a result of my fall, due to extending my right hand to catch myself and breaking my scaphoid bone in my wrist, which the armor could not protect. As you can see from the marks on the armor, my elbow only glanced the rock, hence the scar. Judging from the marks on the elbow pad, I believe that most of the impact was absorbed by the elbow pad. The doctor says I should be able to enjoy my wrist in 6 weeks. It is possible that had I not been wearing this, I may have needed an ambulance or worse, a life flight. Both of those alternatives may have cost a lot of money. In case you're broke like me, but love dirt bikes, you should consider adding this to your collection. My understanding of why people pay crazy amounts of money for fancy jerseys with not a single bit of protection is unclear.

Unfortunately, the Pads do not line up with each other. I was so excited to receive this product. As a result of wearing the armor, my elbows hurt. A chest plate has a bend in it as well. In addition, the side straps are too long and aren't secure enough along the lower stomach. quite a few adjustment straps, which is good, but all the buttons and buttons seem to be Update!

Upon contacting the seller about my elbows rubbing in the chest plates and the inside of the gear, I was informed of the problem. A new one was sent to me after I requested a replacement. They are very easy to work with. There is no rubbing at my elbows, and every part of the system works superbly. It's a straight line from chest plate to arm. I am extremely pleased with the I would definitely purchase this product again!.

My opinion is that it is a great vest because it is priced fairly and it's made very well for what is 2 weeks ago, I was sliding down the pavement and scraping away a bunch of skin on my elbow (luckily at just over 10 mph), so I decided to wear this. am more comfortable now cruising at 25mph on my board than I was It's a pain to have a road rash. With a good helmet, leather gloves, and this vest, you will be much better off than usual! There is very little weight on this TV. Breathing is one of its primary functions. The other day, I rode it for 15 minutes in 103 deg F weather, and it was fine. There was certainly a difference between a plain T-shirt and this one I'd say that a thin long-sleeved shirt would be cooler than a thin tank top It might be a pain to take off your shirt but it's worth the extra protection. As well as being very light, this product is extremely durable. It's just that I would prefer a thin carrying case (you know, like those cheapo disposable backpack type drawstring pouches) to come with it, since I travel around San Francisco using it for work, but sometimes have to use it just for carrying my gear when not using it. Other than that, it's really easy to scuff it up or cause little tears in it when your skateboard accidentally rolls up against the rough road or hits your backpack or the grip tape on top of your skateboard.
