Is it possible to take off the armor?

Armor in the shoulders, yes. It is possible to remove the elbows and forearms. Velcro is used to keep it in place. I thought it was sewn shut at first, but I yanked on the Velcro holding the right shoulder armor in place in several places. It opens, as I noticed. It's a wonderful jacket. In hot weather, the mesh is extremely effective at keeping you cool. I was out riding recently when it was in the mid-90s outside. I was hot when I was stopped, but as soon as I got off, the air rushing through the mesh began to cool me down. I was having a hard time finding a jacket online, so I'm glad I went with the Scorpion.

Is there a zip-out liner in this jacket?

There is no inner liner, nor is it possible to add one. If you wore it in the winter, you'd need to layer underneath it, but it's designed for the summer.

I would buy this jacket again if I had the opportunity. I like how it fits. With waist straps and sleeve snaps, you can adjust the waist and sleeves. It's heavy, but it's also comfortable and of good quality. br>br>Ventilation is excellent. When I raise my arms, a pleasant breeze passes through my armpits (apologies to anyone who is following me). I've worn it in temperatures as high as 90 degrees Fahrenheit and it was fine. br>br>I rode in a downpour for a few hours and was pleasantly surprised at how dry it was afterwards. Better than expected, but mesh isn't waterproof, so expect to be damp.

Excellent value for money

I'm a big guy, so I like that this jacket comes in a variety of sizes. Perfect for the summer. On extremely hot and sunny days, it will still get hot, but any jacket will keep you cool. On 90°F days, as long as you move around, it's fine. This isn't a jacket for the colder months. There is a lot of airflow. About a month after I received it, a few of the seams frayed a little, but not to the point where it was falling apart.

What a stunning coat

Because this jacket was so heavy, I knew it would be hot when I first got it. Contrary to popular belief, It's an excellent idea. It gives you a sense of security while also allowing you to stay cool and fashionable.
