The clear pair broke the other night after I bought the regular size set about two years ago. I wasn't complaining because I got a lot of use out of them, especially considering the price, so I started looking for a new pair. I have a narrow face, so when I saw the small size, I thought it would be a much better fit for me. I expected the frames to be narrower than the full-size pair because I assumed small meant small. I even dug up my broken ones (same brand) from the trash to see if the ear pieces were too short and I could swap them out. The earpieces were identical when they arrived. However, it turns out that the distance between the top and bottom of the lens is what is meant by small. The frames are the same width as the larger ones. Also, unlike the regular glasses, there isn't any foam near the bottom, leaving a nearly half-inch gap. To make do until I can find another pair, I heated the frame to make some adjustments. It might be fine for some, but I'm looking for something with a smaller frame.
I'm a female motorcycle rider who has always had issues with glasses that are too wide. These are extremely comfortable and prevent my eyes from watering due to the wind. They stay on even if you look down, and they're not too tight to be uncomfortable. For night riding or in case of inclement weather, I keep all three pairs with me. Great buy at a low price.
I purchased a small size. My face is quite narrow. They appear to be of good quality; a medium size would have been ideal. However, because there is no middle ground, they appear to be fantastic! br>br>I purchased them for my children as well. I saved them all. Each one has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Looks- Shades of black Weather conditions - Yellow. It's like having an extra big headlight, but it's a little bright if it's really sunny. All over the place- Clear. br>br>On my bicycle and later in the evening, I used the clear. Will they keep your eyes safe at speeds greater than 45 miles per hour? Yes, they are going to do so. I've ridden them to a top speed of 60 miles per hour. However, I will say that one pair may be superior to the other. Although the protective foam is excellent, it is not equally effective on all pairs. Would I buy them again? br>br>Would I recommend them to others? I would, in fact. They go above and beyond the call of duty.
They don't fit or seal well enough to keep the wind out when riding in both adult and children's sizes, and the seal is ridged with bumps, so even if they did fit, they wouldn't keep the wind out.
I'm a woman with an average head size, but I've always found that motorcycle glasses are too big for me. These are perfect because the yellow makes everything so bright, they fit nicely on my face and head, and they don't look huge.
The order arrived quickly, and the glasses were of excellent quality. Adult women will find them too small.
You can certainly find better ones, but not for that price.
