How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

The tire is suitable for use on desert, hard pack, intermediate, and rocky terrain
Suitable for the highway/road but not for use on it
The smoother ride is not only achieved by the horizontal design, but by the radial construction as well
A tire carcass designed with stiffer material reduces flex, reducing the risk of tube punctures
Racers who race in sandy conditions benefit from the tall knob design

Questions & Answers

The rear tire is shown on the picture does it come with that?

I don't believe it does. This picture gives the wrong impression

I tried a lot of different tire configurations when setting up my rally bike for the Sonora 2020 event
4/5

These tires are great in rough desert, but they are not my favourites. I used a different tire that was DOT approved and more durable. These Maxxis desert tires were excellent, but I can't say they were my favorite. Although I must admit, they were a little On the other hand, durability is compromised. Arizona's desert, washes, rocks, and sand are all well handled by these tractors. Trying to enter turns or brake hard and loading the front tire left me feeling very confident in these. My only downside was that after 200 hundred miles at rally race pace, I was chunking off knobs. To get a tire that lasts for at least 500 miles, I wanted a 4 or 5 inch wide tube. The maxxis desert tires were almost unbeatable when they were fresh, so if I had the ability to change tires more often, I would have certainly raced on them. The desert race is run by a lot of competitors, and they are.

The results are consistent and predictable
5/5

It has been my pleasure to run the Maxxis IT department for the past 20 years. Since I like sharp rubber, I usually flip the rear tire after a few rides. The arrows do not point in any particular direction. Tubes are the only thing I change. Whenever I run motocross and GPs in the desert I run Ultra Heavy Duty tubes. A tube that meets standard requirements. There is a little loss of sensitivity with the UHD. However, we can still predict the tire. Moreover, their behavior has remained more or less the same during the past two decades. Since I understand how they respond, I know how to respond. It is said that others swear by this or that. Maxxis will be my company from now on. In spite of the fact that the prices are not cheap, I feel like I am getting my money's worth out of them.

This is the front motorcycle tire I ordered
5/5

It is nice and just what I wanted. I have yet to put it on my bike or test it out, but it is better than the one I have on it.

There's something wrong with this tire! My riding terrain has a mix of hardpack and rocky trails and wet sandy and loamy areas
4/5

I bought this tire for use in Southern California's mountain terrain. My favourite part of this product is how well it performs under all the conditions mentioned above. The bike I ride is a Husqvarna TE310 with Excell Rims and I have the TU Bliss system set to run the tires at 6 psi with low tire pressure. With a strong sidewall of the Maxis coupled with the TU Bliss, this tire combo delivers incredible Besides the fact that it will corner better, it will absorb bumps and rocks so well that you'd swear one of your factory technicians has just adjusted It has seen 80 miles so far and seems to be working well. A few more steps were required to mount it than the Geomax M-P The M-51 gets 2 stars more from me than the 51 In the limited time I have spent in sand, I can tell that it should do very well in sand and hardpack conditions, so I won't change the tires when I ride in the desert. The price makes it a 1 star product, but there's no question that it performs as well or better than its more expensive competitors.
