Selected User Reviews For Kenda K761 Dual Sport Radial Tire - 120/80R18
Hubby purchased it in order to have it on hand when he needed it. It has yet to be required. Has owned the bike for nearly two years and rides it to work three days a week on average. br>br>By hubby's update: This tire is fantastic on the road and offroad, with the exception of deep mud and very loose gravel, where it performs admirably. I've had it on the bike for about a year and it's the longest-lasting tire I've ever used, probably only half-way through its life, with excellent wet road traction. When I go serious offroading, I use a Shinko 700 mounted on a separate wheel, but the K761 is a great option for dual-purpose use. a long-term goal.
This is what I put on the front of my ST 1300 sport cruiser, despite the fact that it is a little tall (80 instead of 70)- it fit. So far, this is the best tire I've had on it. And I've tried a lot of them. Because I live in a muddy, hilly area, I needed something more aggressive than a regular street tire. I've experienced everything from icy conditions to rain, rocksalt, and snow. Every month, I ride 35o miles. So far, none of the tires I've tried have gone out of round or started bouncing right away. I've put about 3K on it so far. I'll buy another one if I get at least $8000 out of it. The only drawback is that it grrowls a little, which is unsurprising. But it's not a problem for me; in fact, knowing there's rubber on the road is reassuring!.
It's an awesome tire, and it's so cheap. br>It grips the road very well.
Offroad? Do not venture off the beaten path. These tires are very nice. On the road, the surface is smooth. They're not great in loose dirt, but they're good in it, and they turn well. Extend your arms as far as they will go. Because of this, smooth tires appear slimmer than knobbies. No, dummy, there aren't any knobs.
