This suspension is surprisingly good for the price; I was skeptical at first, but it proved to be worthwhile. br>br>I used these on a cafe racer I was building out of a 1972 Honda CB175 motorcycle. White, black, and gold were the dominant colors in my design. These are exactly what I needed. br>It took some finagling to get them to fit perfectly, but they were on there after a little effort. In comparison to what I'm used to, the suspension seemed a little stiff, but I'm sure a little tweaking would have fixed that. In addition, I was aiming for a rigid set-up. br>br>Buy these if you want a nice-looking suspension at a reasonable price.
The purchase is still worthwhile. Shipped a month ahead of schedule, with excellent color and strength. My gripe is as follows: On the bottom of the canisters, near the valve stems, there are small knicks. Nothing harmful, but because I work in a factory, even minor flaws can lead to a customer's loss of current or future business. Manufacturers, in my opinion, do not take pride in their work and do not mind if the material they use has knicks and scrapes. The marks aren't dangerous to the rider or the product, but they do have an impact. If you're looking for a low-cost, eye-catching accessory, look no further. Get 'em if you're looking for catching shocks at a good price.
They didn't quite fit, but I managed to make them work. The only problem is that they were both worn out after less than a year of use. Oil was splattered on the floor, and the air chambers began to leak.
Shocks are great. They did not, however, come pre-filled with nitrogen as stated in the description.
That's exactly what I'm looking for in my old Honda Ca- They look fantastic after I drilled out the bottom mounts to fit my motorcycle.
great.
I haven't yet mounted it on the scooter, but it appears to be in good working order.
thanks.
