Don't be stingy with your money; combine the two

I did. On a 2003 Can Am Outlander, this was exactly what I needed to fix the clunk sound. I tried to do the springs with bar strut tools, but they were too difficult, so I used the strut press against the wall. This has nothing to do with the strut; it's just a heads-up. ready to take on the challenge of DIY.

The shock is being removed

The nut on the top of the shock is extremely difficult to remove. I used a sawzall this time to cut it. I'm in desperate need of the ten dollars right now. 00 nut.
