Yes. They do. But be cautious. They let my tire travel, tearing up my wiring on the fender and cutting the tire when I got on my bike.
No, this isn't going to work with your bike.

Selected User Reviews For Progressive Suspension 412-4008B Black 13" Standard Replacement Rear Suspension Shock
The lowest setting works perfectly for a 220lb rider on an 87 FXLR with no luggage, and the feel and handling have greatly improved. It has a nice stiffness to it that isn't overly harsh. The handling under hard acceleration has improved, with no rear tire movement and what appears to be more power to the ground. Progressive Suspension parts are used on all of my bikes, and I find them to be a significant improvement over stock without being prohibitively expensive.
Progressive shocks are always a good choice because they handle hard riding well and last a long time; yes, more expensive shocks are available, but unless you're a professional street racer, progressives will suffice.
My bike's ride was ten times better than it was with stock shocks.
Now I'm able to run my Dyna the way it's supposed to be run.
