LUYED 2 X 1550 Lumens Extremely Bright Error Free 360-Degree Shine 921 912 W16W 3030 24-EX Chipsets LED Bulbs Used For Backup Reverse Lights, Xenon White

These were purchased in conjunction with the JDM ASTAR 800 LED bulbs. Both are great and produce nearly the same amount of light. The only way I could tell if there was a difference was to manually adjust the exposure on my camera and compare the results side by side. LUYED 1550 appears to have a slight advantage in total light output as a result of this. This was only visible through the camera and could not be seen with the naked eye. Even so, they're strikingly similar, and I was taken aback by how similar they were in person. Of course, how well a bulb performs is determined by whether or not it contains a reflector, but because these bulbs have LEDs on all sides, they are more likely to use the entire reflector. The bulbs are oriented in my image with the fat sides facing left and right and the thin sides facing up and down. Because the JDM ASTAR 800 bulb does not have LEDs on those faces, you can see a gap in the up/down section. So, even though the light output is similar, these are objectively superior because they use more of the reflector housing.

There were no problems, and the lights were brighter than the OEM lights they were replacing. They cast light in a 360-degree pattern, which is superior to previous models I've tried. Because the light output is evenly distributed, the light fixture's reflector can do its job and direct the light where it needs to go, making it a good incandescent bulb replacement. It just appears that you have a brighter light, rather than a tiny bright spot surrounded by a dark lens. The LED is shown on the driver's side, while the stock OEM is shown on the passenger's side for comparison.

I saw a few people on the Xterra forums raving about how well these worked and how bright they were, so I decided to give them a shot because the factory reverse bulbs aren't very bright and barely provide any usable light output on the surroundings when backing up. These are extremely bright, and to my surprise, they illuminate the path behind me so well that I noticed my autodimming rearview mirror dimming. They were simple to install (just like any other bulb) and didn't require any resistors or special adapters (because they match the exact bulb type that my Xterra's reverse lights use). I like the way they look and how practical they are. I'm thinking about getting a few more of these to put on my other vehicles.

These backup lights were only recently installed as a replacement for the blade-style lights. factory incandescents in style My car's incandescents are almost 6 years old and have faded in luminance, so this isn't a completely accurate comparison, but I suspect they'd blow away a new incandescent bulb. br>br>They are quite white, as opposed to a warm light found in a traditional bulb, and IMO this adds to the perception of a light's brightness —even though it is actually a representation of where light temperature falls on the Kelvin scale— and these, with no perceptible blue tint (and sold as Xenon white) seem to accurately fall at about 5000K, which is typically listed as "bright white," falling between 4100K "cool white" and These LEDs @ 1550 lumens (THIS is the measure of a light's brightness) fit the bill because 5000K "bright white" appears to be classified as, for example, use in hospitals and locations requiring extremely bright lighting for maximum clarity. br>br>What I do know is that when I put my car in reverse, these lights provide MUCH more light behind it, and who doesn't need to see where they're going? I do. As a result, I'm satisfied with my purchase. br>br>Now the only question is, how long will they last?br>I'm not aware of a lamp that illuminates the future, so I'll have to rely on time to tell me how long they'll last.

For a 2019 Ram 1500, I purchased these. The cargo/third brake light was fitted with these. While the brightness is high and they appear to be well made, they interfered with the key fob and push button start, which I discovered when my key fob was not recognized after I inserted them and I had to repeatedly push the button. The key fob was instantly recognized after I removed them and replaced them with the original incandescent. I replaced the thirdbrake/cargo light with a set of phillips lights and had no problems; however, when I reinstalled these lights, the key fob was immediately interfered with. I cannot recommend these lights, and I am currently stuck with them due to quarantine and my inability to ship them before the deadline.

These "brightest" back-up lights were just installed. In a 2013 Ford Edge, there are uplights. Because the led's base is extremely thick, it takes a lot of effort to push it into place. There is a small component that makes contact with the bulb socket, but because it takes so much effort to push them in, you can wiggle the led out a little until no components make contact with the socket, and you will never, ever have to worry about them slipping out. My sockets were already brittle and had small bits missing from when the original bulbs were installed, so when I inserted these bulbs, a little more of them crumbled. Not enough to jeopardize the led lights' functionality. Non- I think I'll need the jaws of life to extract them from the socket when the time comes, so polarity is great. I'd rather not have to pry them out in order to reverse them. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to withstand the abuse and strain required to install the led bulb, indicating that they are well-made. Definitely a lot of light. They're at least four times brighter than the "super bright" JDMASTAR they're taking the place of. For the back-up camera, it transforms night into daytime. camera in the air I've never had good luck with these bulbs before, so we'll see how long they last. They're still working in December 2019.
