JDM ASTAR Extremely Bright 144-EX Chipsets 3056 3156 3057 3157 LED Bulbs with Projector for Backup Reverse Lights, Xenon White

My first impression on these was that they were a little longer than I expected, but they fit okay. They were very easy to replace in my Jeep. A phillips head screwdriver is all you need for installation in less than five minutes! With the "projector" glass, the light is spread very evenly. I think the brighter lights will make it possible to see in the back of my Jeep a good bit easier, and since seeing in the back of my Jeep is hard enough, this might help mitigate the problem. If they work, they are great. I had one of them fail about 6 weeks after installing them. There is no continuity on the faulty one and I have checked continuity on both, so whatever the issue was, it is no longer working. It goes without saying that I am disappointed that one "burned out" in less than two I've made some updates on the project As per the warranty policy, I got in touch with the seller on their website to request a return of the failed LED bulb. Despite waiting a week, we have yet to receive a response from the company. As of now, I would recommend searching elsewhere for LED backup bulbs for your vehicle if you want them to work. Users may be hit or miss on receiving a working pair of LED bulbs and may be hard pressed to get any customer support.

I am using a JDM ASTAR bulb for the reverse lights for the second time. Throughout my 25 year ownership of my 92 Chevrolet, it never had any problems. The garage in my new house is 3" wider than the garage in my old house. My truck backed right into the parking spot with plenty of clear light from the extra bright bulbs. The sun was at just the wrong angle when I carefully backed in, but I could see enough to do it. My LED bulbs from ASTAR never need to be replaced again after I installed them! The awesome bulbs of my truck were unfortunately left behind when I sold it. The replacements are on the way. I have ordered replacement LED lights for my new truck a third time! There are other vendors who market their bulbs as compatible. Despite their best efforts, they did not. As a result of my showing false advertising to Amazon, I received a full refund. Rather than wasting the time and frustration of ordering these in the first place, I should have gotten them sooner. *You will notice that the lighting is different. I had no idea these were so bright. This is amazing! This has made a huge difference in my 2015 F150's reverse lighting and I am glad I switched out my halogen lights for it. I used these to add rear backup lights to my 1998 Grand Cherokee. Having to back down a dark driveway at night despite the 3057 bulbs being dangerously dim, I had to fix it. It used to be terrible before, as you can see from the pictures. Immediately after the installation, you feel like you are in a completely different world.

Its color and light output as well as its range of light throw are both very impressive. On my 2004 Silverado I started to convert the lights to LED just recently. This was a good time to switch over to LEDs since I was replacing a reverse light. In anticipation of plugging the bulb into the housing after changing the bulbs, I made sure the unit worked. I love how bright they are, and they look great. The moment I have them, I will just wait and see how long they last but I definitely will buy another one. There are two pictures to show how bright the room is. There are two headlights in the taillights, which gives the impression of two heads.
