Selected User Reviews For Kuryakyn 3201 Motorcycle Lighting Accent Accessory: Dual Circuit LED Trunk Molding Set with Red Lens for 2001-10 Honda Gold Wing GL1800 Motorcycles, Chrome
For the trunk light system, there are three sections, one on each side of the trunk and one across the back. Every light in the piece across the back of the trunk has 8 tiny lights inside it that light up. In one of those sections with 8 lights, only four of them illuminate. However, I will say the rest of the assembly really shows off my bike, as it is a Black Goldwing, and any additional lights are welcome additions. If you want to make it more visible to other traffic, I recommend placing these on the trunk.
The three items below are the last three items I recently purchased for my 2008 GL1800 from Amazon I would like to recommend Kuryakyn The following companies sell the Lighted Saddlebag Molding Set with Red Lens The Amazon website. LLC Kuryakyn The Amazon website. The address of the company is Kuryakyn A Lighted Trunk Molding Set with Red Lens may be purchased from br>Note that the products made by Kuryakyn are, in my opinion, of good quality for their price, and these are not the only ones I have from them, but these are the ones I purchased It is unlikely that Kuryakyn will provide detailed instructions, and even the factory-produced videos on YouTube aren't as comprehensive as they could be. If you don't have any skill or talent, you will NOT be able to make up for it when you I noticed that all these items are installed and looking good, but I'm going to detail what exactly they are. The saddlebag light kit was the first item to arrive. It was obvious that the box had been opened, as they were inside the Kuyrakyn box. It was in good condition and all parts were present and in place, but the chrome strips were not in the protective plastic that the manufacturer places It was as usual that the instructions were awful. For an item this nice, at that price, one would perhaps expect a template of the holes that you need to drill. I needed a bit larger drill bit to get the connectors through the holes, so I used a 5/16th drill bit. The 3/8" bit I used allowed me to use some split grommets that were 3/8" x 1/4". As a result, one would have expected grommets to be included in A trunk light kit was next in line to arrive. One of the LED lights on the left side strip was not connected to the strip, and it was in all the factory packaging The clipped end. It refused to stay in place when I tried just popping it back into place. It has been glued on by the factory, but this light did not have enough glue. When I called the tech, he was on the line. The Kuryakyn site gave me a telephone number to call. I left a voicemail, but before they returned my call, I was able to fix my boat with a hot glue gun. I let them know what the issue was when I got a call back, as well as what I did to resolve As long as the tech person seemed uninterested, neither in the issue nor in the remedy I would need to make, I can say the situation was bad. As of last week, only the rotor cover and light kits were still on their way. While the light kits were fully stored in their factory boxes, the rotor covers were packed in bubble wrap without the factory box. There was no damage to the parts, and the light kit was in a semi-destructive state During shipment, a crushed box was placed inside a good-condition larger box. Although all the parts were present, the double-sided foam tape needed for installation was not installed at the factory in one of the light strips. It was fortunate that I had a roll of 3M 1/2" (item #03609) at hand, so I used that and I was back to work in no time. Though it would have been nice to have better installation instructions, once you figure out exactly which bolt goes where and which ones need rubber washers, it's easily done. Using the same bolts for the rotor covers and the lower holes on the fender, the holes on the rotor covers needed to be opened slightly. It did come with instructions on how to wire the lights, but they could have had better instructions on where and how to route the wires, as well as a wire loom for the parts of the steering head where the wires can come into contact with other parts. It's up to you to check which areas need addressing. I added a section that I had, and I tested them as well. In this installation, there were a lot of steps. Once installed, my bike looks exactly the way I had envisioned it, and everything was worth the effort. However, the 4 star rating is entirely due to the poor quality of Kuryakyn's installation instructions and videos that gloss over or skip steps making people think it is easier than it is. These items are easy to install, but some people who do not have any experience may buy them thinking they are easy to set up only to find out that it is Thanks for taking the time, Bill Hope this helps,.
I love the fast shipping, and how easy it is to install.
I absolutely love this seat, it's ideal for my bike and makes it more functional.
An easy to install product.
All my friends love my high-end bike and the lights and Chrome accent just make it that much better looking, not to mention, it helps make my bike safer with the extra lights.
The installation was easy. I had it completed in less than I think it looks.
As it turned out, wiring was more complex than it seemed. am still not able to turn on the lights. Besides that, I lost some of the information from my dash The red terminal of the harness was connected to it. A ground wire and a neutral wire had to be soldered together. I did not think the building was well constructed considering its.
