It was bought for use on my Husqvarna IZ4217 zero-turn mower, model 2004. It has a 17-HP engine. It had a Kawasaki FH541V engine. Over the last two years, it always had a slow start, sounded like the battery was very weak. The battery was tested and found to be fine. Even though my battery had been old for a year I replaced it It does not appear to be improving. After replacing the starter, it started as if it were brand new. A fast spin and a smooth start. The product would have saved me a great deal of embarrassment if I would have bought it years ago.

The gearbox was installed on a Hustler Super Mini Z that has a 23 hp Kawasaki motor. Due to the fact that it was a third of the price of the OEM Kawasaki starter, I was a little nervous. Although I was worried about the risk, I decided it was worth it. I haven't had any issues with this starter since I started using it 6 months ago. I highly recommend it. The shipping process was quick.

My original 2004 starter was damaged, so I purchased this to replace it. It works perfectly as it should don't have any issues at all. The whole experience was excellent.

This appears to be a heavy-duty item. The way it is constructed and the quiet operation are very appealing to me. The zero turn mower has been fitted with it. The start-up is now automatic, rather than depending on the mood of the user.
