All spark plug wires have a resistance of no more than 1000 ohms per inch, according to what I know. Vehicles that use special spark plugs use spiral-shaped spark plugs Magnetic coil made out of stainless steel wires with approximately 500 ohms of resistance per foot of wire. These aren't any special wire. The coils put out 30-60k volts, so they can easily overcome the 1000 ohms per inch resistance. It is mostly at the gap of the spark plug in the cylinder that the majority of the resistance is found. The resistance of a spark plug will be too high if the gap is too large. That should be helpful.

I purchased new plug wires, but those were nearly $200. Finally, the plug wires began breaking down, and they were no longer made by Jacobs. After I'd regained control of my bladder, I opened the Ford Racing catalog, looked up the Ford Racing plug wire part number, and then checked Amazon for prices. In Alaska, with SuperSaver shipping, they came in the mail a week later! I was surprised to find the number listed, ordered them, and received them a week later! A nice wire set with good quality. This was installed on a 1993 Ford F-150 A 150 with the 5 would be accurate. The number zero. It may take a little longer to run some of the wires than they should be for this application, but the wire set does the job nicely. It is the same wire set I used on a 5 since it is the same wire set I have on a 6 I've used it in the past on a 0L Mustang as well and it worked well.

There is no need to shorten this to 0 characters. It is recommended to purchase the universal set. The wire set is well made, but the majority of the wires are too long for the 302 to fit. A Universal Set on a 5 would actually be more useful because all the wires will need to be shortened. An application 0/302 has been filed.
