It does not really matter if the engine is running or not. Is it best to adjust it with the engine running or not running?

It took me a while to adjust mine when I got it. This was done while I shut off the engine. It was very easy to install and ran great after I had adjusted it. There was no backfiring from the I rode it for about 3 weeks, what are you doing? I ended up with a tail. The repair has not yet been completed.

What is the ease of use of this product?

A low score. I installed the fuel processor on my 2006 Vulcan Nomad after it arrived quickly. It took about 45 minutes to install. The seat must be removed, the wiring must be run, the tank bolts removed and the tank can be leaned over to access All you have to do is wire tie the wires. When I first started it up, it ran very rough, so I switched around one of the injector wires, and it started to purr. It has only one mod on it, the True Duals exhaust from Cobra, and that made a huge difference to how it runs. There may be a need for me to make a change on the middle setting, but warmer weather and some time will determine what the best setting will be. I am thrilled with how smooth and easy the low end is now, as well as how good the cold start has become.

We still have to dial it in but it runs a lot smoother, more powerful, gets better mpg, and has fewer deceleration backfires.

Taking only a few minutes, the installation was very straightforward. It took no time whatsoever to get my bike running. Great job! If you are working on either an intake or an exhaust, you will need this.

You cannot even begin to describe the difference in sound, power, or throttle response. I don't know why Factory does not do this set-up. The game was up and running right from the beginning. It's worth saving your money if you don't have it already - it will be worth it!.
