If you ride western, this is the one to get. Equestrian lanyards, on the other hand, are shorter than motorcycle lanyards. If you ride English, you'll need a bungee lanyard, which you can get from HitAirEquestrian. Both kinds can be found on com. You can specify whether you want an English or a Western lanyard when ordering the lanyard.

After colliding with a deer at 60 miles per hour and flying/sliding 200 feet, I needed a replacement. The vest performed admirably, with the exception of a few scuffs. The only thing I had to show for the crash was a small bruise the size of a dime. After a high-speed crash, the leash should be changed. NEVER RIDE WITHOUT AN AIRBAG VEST! The rubber sleeving was ripped in one spot, but the core was still perfect.
The wire itself was in good condition, but the locking mechanism had a flaw. The bottom half of the clamp is shown in the left photo (without any threads) - Because the screw had nothing to grab onto, it was unable to seat. br>br>The locking mechanism from my old cable is shown in the right photo (with the hand holding the mechanism). I simply used it to cinch the new wire; the threads in the center of the clamp can be seen.
I have multiple motorcycles, so getting an extra tether was much less expensive than getting another Hit-It-Round. Installing the Air Vest was simple: remove the seat and secure it to a frame component. Make sure it's dangling on the correct side, and don't forget to re-attach it. the seat should be installed!.
It looks exactly the same as the one that came with my Hit Air jacket. After cutting my original cable too short, I needed to order a new one.
This replacement wire is nearly identical to the OEM wire, with the exception that it is slightly shorter. Aside from the length, it appears to be well-made and should perform similarly to the original. This item is something I would recommend.
