The cable is larger and thicker than a bicycle cable.
You've got the wrong cable if you have to cut and crimp it to fit.
The gas pedal has a 3/8 hole at the end. To make the gas pedal work, I installed a 3/8 brass bushing with a stainless steel bolt, as well as heavy-duty springs on the gas and brake pedals to ensure they return.
Select the appropriate length after measuring your distance on your kart. They have a variety of sizes available.

It now has the loop end attached to it. My application was greatly aided by your assistance. To me, it appears to be very heavy duty. It was also nice to be able to get the length I desired. Both ends are simple to connect. See pics.
Purchased and used to replace the throttle cable on our children's go kart after it rusted and broke. I found this on here and thought I'd give it a try because it's long enough to reach and still had extra cord. It worked perfectly for what we needed.
The end connectors on this cable are well clamped on, and the cable is well made. It's been added to my yerf dog, and it's working perfectly.
Wow. Better than the original equipment in terms of quality. Great replacement cable at an affordable price, with the ability to adjust on the mounting end so you don't have to cut it to fit. Fraying is prevented by the welded motor end of the core cable. This product is of excellent quality.
We had to order a second set because the first set was of poor quality.
I bought this for my engine swap project because it was significantly less expensive than an equivalent automotive part, and it works perfectly.
It was a lot thicker than the one I was replacing before.
It appears to be of good quality and of sufficient length to complete the task.
