It appears that there are a few companies selling the same item It seemed to be easier to install since I used the quick detach hardware kit as everyone suggested and that seemed to help. I chose these because they had the most reviews at this price range and most were positive. The fit and finish are good for the money. I had basic install hardware included. If you decide not to purchase the quick detach, it will cost you $15. My snaps are plastic, but I see another review with some suggested replacements if I encounter problems. The black plastic looks very similar to painted, and most people would think it to be painted.

There seemed to be some concern about paint quality at this price, but that doesn't seem to be the case. The only fisheyes are near the edge, and one runs along an edge, but with regard to the overall effect of the fisheye you have to approach it closer than 12". At that distance the scratches in my 12 year old bike's paint seem more prominent. I would recommend it. Their price is too good to pass up at $80. It seems as if I paid more for them than I did for them, since they look good. As well as looking sharp, they look pretty good. The only complaint I have is that one of the snaps on my glove box broke. It cost me $7 bucks to buy a snap replacement kit. Having had snaps fail on far more expensive items, I don't find this to be particularly frustrating. It is pretty easy to mount them on the bike, as long as you use a larger washer on the bottom mount (no big deal). The quick release kit is on its way to me, and I'll install it once it arrives. I am very pleased with the paint & overall appearance of the house. While the vents can be tricky and tend to close all on their own, and the bolts for the mounting straps are way too short, I still enjoy having them and know that they will keep me warmer and pretty dry. I have ordered Harley Vivid Black and it is the same color as mine. King, and if I ever switch over, I will remove them from my old bike and put them on my next one.

The look and finish of the product are excellent right out of the box. For my brother's 09 Classic, I bought both this and the quick release kit. When the upper part was tightened, the crash bar did not secure to it. The truck swung a bit from side to side. In that case, we removed the crash bar and installed rubber-sided tape in an inch and a half spot around the crash bar. After that, it was snugly attached. A minor fix has been made. After I had the quick release chrome clamp on the bottom, it did not quite fit snugly on the bar once it had been bottemed out. Despite the little movement, it still seemed to be moving. We removed the bolt, used four washers to fill in the slack, and then mounted them on the bike. They are an excellent looking addition to the vehicle. I just had to McGyver the mounting kit a little. This is not a big deal, but it would have been nice not to have to deal with it. It would be my recommendation, but I realize you might not agree with me. Perhaps we will need to customize things a bit. did not read any reviews that contained issues like that but I noticed snaps breaking on The look is still good and the functionality is also excellent.
