As far as value for money goes, it's okay. There is no way for me to know how sturdy the bar really is until I tip the bike over. The included hardware is also of no use. It is just a wimpy little allen screw, as the bolt for the top connection doesn't fit the bracket, the washers are thin and flimsy, and the bolt for the bracket doesn't even fit the bracket it must have a bigger head. As well, the bracket that's welded to that top of the guard for that screw to secure it to the bike frame is not welded on at the proper angle. As a result, the guard won't sit flat against the bike In any case, I only spent $12 on some grade 8 hardware, which isn't terribly expensive, but this is something that should be usable straight The quality of what you get depends on the price.

While the installation of this was fairly straightforward and easy, the included U bolts made it seem like There should have been some changes to the mounting. There would have been a better fit had the bottom of the bar been attached to the bike with a bolt rather than with U bolts on the down pipe. To mount this, I got washers and plates from a hardware store. The place you are supposed to mount this is a tight spot, so you'll need tiny baby hands, and you may need a swivel socket, which I did not have. It took me some time to adjust it to my body, but I was able to do it. Those rubber foot pads are cheap and slide around I'm just going to remove them and mount highway pegs regardless, but I would have liked them to stay in place if they were glued on. It's not a big deal. In general, I'm happy with the look, and it gives me more options when it comes to foot positions while riding. In other words, I wanted that. Overall, we can say it was a good experience. This is a decent bar for the price, I have no complaints. The amount of redundancies is too great.

My usual experience is that I ordered the bar and it was delivered a couple days earlier than I Amazon has done a great job. As I laid out the tools I thought I would need before I started, I took about 45 minutes by myself to install this bar on my 2012 Harley Super Glide. There seems to be a booger in getting the top bolt in as others have also mentioned. My washer was included. But I also added a lock washer to make it more secure. However, it is threaded in even without the knurled head. If only the bolt head had been knurled, I would have had no problem with threading it in. There is an article that says some buyers were less than satisfied with the provided U-tubes A bolt. The U of H is not my field, but I am a student Despite complaints, bolts appeared adequate and maybe they had been upgraded since they had not failed before. You can actually move the "pads" of the foot rest. Currently, I am not sure how I want to handle this matter, or even whether it will be a problem. (It is still too cold right now to ride and test them. There is now the option of adding highway pegs to my bike. The purchase was a good one all in all. There is a lot of chrome on this bar, it is about the same weight as other highway bars I've handled, and it fits even with the forward pegs the previous owner I sat on the fence a while before I bought mine, but now that I have it I have no regrets about my decision.

I'm replacing the upper bolt because it represents good value for the price. The bolt head should be replaced with a hex one when you install. Create an alligator clip
For the female metal block at the top of the crashbars. If you are good with hack saws and files, you might also make a stud for it. Place a niloc nut on the inside of the frame to secure the frame and to make the socket installation easier. Store with loctite or loctite glue. When you tighten all around, make sure the fit is good. These bars are sure to be a hit with you.

I would advise you to move along if you don't want crash bars used to save your legs. The purpose of these is to prop your feet up while you cruise. This design is not very good. In such a tight space, the top bolt is very difficult to thread, and the bottom bolts are ugly and difficult to work with. However, the quality of service you receive should match the price.

I had two months ago this crash bar installed and it fits perfectly into my 06 Dyna wide glide frame. As well as the mounting kits, it came with this product. Earlier today on an icy road, I slid my bike for 20 feet and the crash bar saved my bike frame. Other than a few scratches on the gearbox and clutch lever, I had no other damage to my bike. An incident is illustrated by images taken before and after. In the photo, you can see how heavily I bent the bar to the left while.

The product arrived and was installed on my bike. It did not fit very well, and these items were too large and too far forward. I requested a refund and it was granted. I returned the item at an expense of 45 bucks in return shipping for the customer. I asked the seller three times for an update on the status of my refund, but to no avail. As a result, I am out the bars and the shipping costs. The seller's lack of responsiveness is the reason I would not recommend them.
