I find it to be a little heavier than expected, but it is well made

I was surprised by the weight of this product when I received it. As I looked at the product closely, I realized that it is made of metal and is extremely heavy. I am very pleased with the performance of my Honda CRF 250X with this product. In order to hold the stock foot pad in place, the kickstand foot pad is made in two parts that are bolted together. Allen key was even included in the package. There is no longer any sinking of my kick stand in My only concern is that metal is heavier than plastic. However, this product is very strong and well constructed so I anticipate it will last a long time. When I had a plastic kickstand foot pad in the past it got brittle and broke (it was very light). This one I believe will last for a very long time.
