Can this be used on a TJ 2005 model Jeep?

It does have a tab that rests against the rear fender wall that keeps it from spinning at It is possible to dent the fender walls by placing too much pressure on the foot peg. I bent out the peg tab in a vise to see if it could be bent a little so it won't be so tight against the fender. Trying to bend it is difficult because it's thick metal you could damage the powder coat as well. There is one side that fits perfectly, whereas the other side is so tight that I am concerned the fender will be pressed against.

There is something wrong with the flexing of the body panels

It looks great as far as materials and finish are concerned. As far as I can tell, the pad that rests against the paint is too small and too far away from the edge of the body panels, which are made of It makes the panels flex when you exert even the slightest pressure on them. A natural riding position is to have a bit of forward pressure this is constantly flexing the painted body panels in and While I'm not sure if the format would cause issues in the long run, I am not satisfied with it.

The look is great, but the fit is terrible

Jeeps with these tires are too tight and the side of the vehicle is pushed against. A pad is included, but it does not sit well with me. Besides rubbing on the P in my Jeep, they also rub against the bumper in My only regret is I didn't read the comments before I bought them as I noticed another customer had the same problem. I have updated the report That's my update for now, I just bent it back a There is a vast improvement in fit and the skin is almost completely free of rubbing. As far as I am concerned, they are excellent and I am glad I bought them, just remember to carefully install them, pull back a bit so they bend a bit and you're good to go.

believe the quality of these is very durable, but they are placed so tightly against the body of the fender panel that I am afraid they may dent the panel. Furthermore, the Jeep's letters for "Sahara" don't fully fit under one side of the bumper, which makes the Jeep bumper press against the letters and fender more, but this is most probably the factory positioning of the letters.

The earbuds are amazing and they work so well! The only thing I wish it had were two things. Therefore, rubber o rings are a good choice, as they won't rub against the On my JL, the piece that is touching the side of the jeep is a little too large and is pressing up against my Jeep emblem. This may not be a problem on other models but it slightly rubs and I fear it will pop the "P" on the drivers side Jeep logo and the "J" on the passenger side. If you have a grinder it is easy to fix. Overall, they work great, and my wife and I enjoy having them to prop our feet up when we are doing a bit of off-roading.

I would not be able to install it on my 2020 Jeep JL due to interference with the Jeep Despite the fact that it is a well made solid product, I had to return it because it interfered with my Jeep emblem on my 2020 JL

Anyone would think it is stupid to want a foot peg to run parallel to There is no logic to this at all. That would have been a better move on my part. I bent them a bit so my foot would be able to rest comfortably on them after placing them in a vice. The set I'll probably purchase will be different from what I normally buy.

I received one piece that does not fit my gladiator, but everything else was perfect. They were bought a few years ago but I never had a chance to use them since the doors never came off. During the weekend I removed the doors to install the new doors and one of them would not Due to the fact that I purchased them over a month ago, I do not know if I can get them replaced. The quality of the product was excellent, so I gave it 4 stars. I will send a defective product back to the seller immediately if the seller will replace it.

This is supposed to be a buffer between the peg and the Jeep (where the peg presses against the Jeep side), for the sake of protecting the paint on the Jeep.
