Can anyone tell me the standard size of the 2012 ultra classic crash bars?

It is designed to fit 1 1/4" diameter stock. A crash bar appears. Order the correct size to ensure that your crash bar fits.

This would not fit on an 07 Harley Electra Glide Classic. Why not?

If you have lower fairings, the #7599 will not fit the 1 1/4" engine guard of your '07 FLHTC and we recommend that you use #7583 or #7584 Tour-Side side mounting if you need to replace the engine guard. Bikes with lowers can be mounted on Tech Cruise Mounts. Please accept my sincere thanks,

I like it
4/5

It turns out that deciding on highway pegs is damn difficult! These are the ones I settled on after looking at a lot of stuff. You can lock them down very securely (as long as you don't overdo it) Turn it up! My feet are very firm and feel very comfortable. One of the big selling points with these is that they may be adjusted, and they are terrific in that regard. But it takes a bit of patience to set them up in the way you like them. It took me quite a while to do it without assistance, but it was worth it. However, I think the look and the fact that they are a bit bulky would make it more difficult. I found them to be quite effective for a big cruiser like my Indian The bikes do not get any smaller, but they don't get any bigger either. As a result, they add about one inch to the width of the bike, making it one more inch to worry about when splitting lanes in the state. The fact of the matter is that it exists. On the whole, they do look good on the Indian Chief, and I'm sure they also look good on Harleys. My expectations for floppiness and slippage are not high this set is built well - thanks to their sturdy construction. On the critical joints, there is a locking mechanism so that your feet remain securely in place. The star rating is 5. When folded up, they would be rated 5 stars if they added no width to the bike. Better would be the Lindby highway pegs, which mount and fold so that they are positioned behind the highway bar and are very low-profile, but do not add any width. There are way too many reviews that state they are generally crap, that they easily strip the threads when mounting, which means they are made of cheap tin (I confirmed this on an Indian forum I spoke with), and they flop down unless they are over-adjusted. towed or modified with washers (that could be dangerous in traffic), and when I contacted Lindby with a few questions, they did not even bother to respond, so I decided to go with The day has been good for me.

It's a heaven on earth to ride long and have extra foot positions
5/5

This was installed on a Cobra 1 fitted with a 2006 Suzuki C90 Boulevard VL1500 Highway bar measuring 1" in length. problems with them. Prior to being tightened close to their installation locations, they are kind of floppy and swivel around, making them difficult In my youth I made the mistake of mounting them swiveled out in front of the highway bar, thinking it would be cool. Then, we went for a couple more -I determined that they would be most convenient and secure swiveled behind the highway bar, just outside my front shift lever and brake pedal, so they could be positioned just outside my riding position. Now that's all taken care of, it's all good. It is fantastic that these things can be adjusted quite a bit - and that they mount solidly. The knee does not move or flex in any way. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

It may be that the machined fastener threads are wearing out, so the company is nervous about them The cheap steel and poorly machined hardware of Kuryakyn makes it a poor choice
3/5

As a result of having to torque it again because it came loose, the steel footpeg cracked and broke in half! It's as if all the cheap hardware comes covered in anti-sieze It may be that the machined fastener threads are wearing out, so the company is nervous about them There should be a price for this crap, I would not mind that. The accessories they sell are cheap, but they charge premium prices. Harbor Freight tools would cost the same as Snap On tools. This is not something to be fooled by.

I strongly advise you to read this review before implementing the software

Before you install the pegs, make sure you get some Loctite RED so that the pre-drilled holes are waterproof Assembled peg bolt. You should remove the long bolt that connects the peg itself to the clamp and use some Loctite RED to On one of my trips, I failed to follow this step and my left peg disappeared. The in-store customer service at Kuryakyn was excellent and I purchased a left peg from them ($42). Rep mentioned that the issue was experienced by other riders as well. In the instructions, it should be in bold letters to do this before installing these pegs if it is a known problem.

You need to give your body time to adjust
5/5

Since this was the first time I have used highway pegs, I was not sure how to set them up or how to use them. My friend who is an experienced rider and more familiar with them rode over to me to see how they worked after I installed Getting them setup properly was a bit of a challenge but they are wonderful once they're in place. According to some reviews, I had no problems with the parts that were installed. The quality of the products was good and there were no problems with the parts. Black is the color of the trim on my Chieftan, so I bought the black gloss. All in all, it looks great. It is easy to install these by one person. Were a little baffled as to why they would not work on the 2014 Chieftan according to the Amazon fit guide. The manufacturer's website directed me to find out if the shoes fit. I verified they did. The product is very good. I would definitely recommend it.
