It was not clear how the spring should be configured so I tried various combinations. After trying on the left side, I managed to get the spring to work, but on the right side, I had to drill holes for the spring ends When I attempted to twist the spring into place with a small hole, it did not go through and twist as it did on the left side. That is when I made a hole 3 times bigger with bigger bits. The Yamaha TW200 was used for this. It was easy to install the hinge pin and cotter pin, and the footpegs are good. During the spring it took a while for things to start.
On the Coleman CT200U, the pins on the pegs fit great, but the bolts are too long for the stock mounting location. The stock pegs provided me with the pins. Spring size is a bit larger than expected, but I presume they are used on a variety of The footings are improved over the stock ones for the CT200U. This is especially true.
We use these for our stupid little Coleman bikes, and they look sweet on them.
I had to modify it a little but it works.
Just had to increase both holes on the frame. It seems to be holding up pretty well so far.
The second reason is that there is no way these can fit a PW50. In the pw50, the peg is fitted with an internal spring. They are in no way comparable to a spring that will hook to the frame.
