Using this item with your Koso speedometer will be a great idea. Almost any place on your bike (or car) that has a view of the sky can have an antenna attached. My unit sits on top of the upper triple clamp (after all, the adhesive is pretty strong on the unit). I would estimate it to be about 2"x2", and the cable would extend enough from the rear of the bike to reach the antenna. In order to mount the 5") speedometer properly, wire connections need to be located within about 8 inches of the speedometer. The double sided tape I used to mount mine was under the top triple clamp. Upon installation, the gps signal will be acquired almost immediately if it has been ridden recently (for instance, during the last few weeks), otherwise, it will take about 1 minute for the GPS signal to be acquired. Besides giving you accurate speed and distance readings (which are not affected by slight changes in tire pressure), this also prevents you from having to install any wheel sensors, gives your front wheel a cleaner look, and saves you a lot of time and hassle during installation. Considering what I received for my D+, my only complaint is that it wasn't included I got in the OLED meter as an add-on and it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the style and accuracy improvement.
There is a GPS option that comes with a good design and works well!.
Everything works according to plan.
