The water-insoluble formula of a special calcium sulfonate complex is ideal for marine applications and provides excellent corrosion protection against salt, water, and air.

This grease's high 550°F drop point makes it ideal for high-temperature applications in both marine and non-marine environments.

Use to lubricate and protect wheel bearings (including disc brake wheel bearings), swivel hinges, pins, winches, anchor chain reels, and other moving parts.

On a turntable set up outside. Do you use your dirty dikc beaters or do you use a gun?

Although you can buy a plastic syringe and apply it that way if you're trying to apply it in specific spots, it's not gun applied.

The grease is a bluish color that matches the can's blue color.

Is it okay if I use this in conjunction with white lithium grease?

Grease shouldn't be mixed because they have different properties.

Would this work as a filler in an irrigation wiring grease cap to keep water out after a rainstorm when the wire connection is submerged?

It's just grease, and for submersible pumps with heat shrink connectors, you can buy watertight connectors.

For Subaru, this is a great throw-away bearing grease

Excellent throw-away bearing grease for Subaru, with a higher dripping point (550F) than most lithium-based 2 greases. Shear stability is higher in calcium sulfonate greases than in lithium complex greases. As a result, they'll last longer than lithium greases under pressure. Make sure to get rid of any lithium grease that may have been left over from the factory (compatible with Subaru's lithium complex grease). br>br>Will also work with synthetic elastomer bushings, such as Whiteline, and will not cake up as quickly (has twice the life span, to be exact) as a lithium complex grease, which is a huge plus for swaybar bushings. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: 10/21/18 I've recently gotten back into shooting. This stuff can also be used to grease firearms! For a fraction of the price, this gun grease has superior properties to Lucas gun grease.

Grease to die for! This is the best grease on the market

Designed for corrosive environments with high heat. It comes in handy when I need to pack the wheel bearings on my camper's Dexter axles. For a variety of reasons, calcium grease is preferable to lithium grease. High heat and water intrusion are the most common reasons for this. Some may consider it excessive to replace a camper wheel bearing, but how much is excessive if it prevents you from ever breaking down?.

It's great for repacking ball bearings and lubing fittings and splines, and it's also great as a general bike grease. On steel to aluminum surfaces, such as pedals into crankarms or seatpost into steel frame, I'd still use antiseize, but this works well for almost everything else.

I just repacked the bearings on my boat trailer, and it appears to be a good product. The texture is sticky and easy to pack in, but it rotates smoothly.
