Questions & Answers

Is it possible for a motorcycle to be suspended?

Yes, if a Can Am has grease zerks, it can be used. This is a good high-pressure grease to use. My only flaw is that it leaks red oil all over the place from your grease gun. As a result, you'll need to keep your grease gun in a plastic bag and be ready to wipe it down after each use.

Will this work on garage door components (tracks, etc.) or do I need to use white lithium grease instead? Also, how does this compare to WLG?

In fact, nothing should be used on the track; it must be kept clean. If you can reach the wheel bearings, use lithium grease. Clean the tracks of any remaining grease.

What can I use to clean the grease out of the bearings of a machine that needs to be food-safe? What is your product's grade?

Good day. On our ytrikes motorcycle trikes, we use the grease in the differentials. If you have food-grade equipment, use a citrus-based cleaner to remove the grease. These are non-toxic and effective at removing grease. Any fda-approved food-grade product, such as Dow Corning Molycoat, can be used in place of the grease.

Is it possible to use this in the winter? On a fish house trailer, what should you use?

This is what I use in my excavator 30 miles north of Nome, Alaska, to calculate the average temperature. The temperature rises to 53 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer and drops to -33 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter. 29 degrees in the winter

Great

Great lubricant. It's a little sticky, but it works wonders for polishing knobs.

It's great if you use it quickly or mix it in a tub before using it; however, it separates over time
3/5

I've used this stuff for years, and it's great if you use it quickly and/or mix it in a tub before using it. However, if you leave it to sit or if you use it in a grease gun for a long time, it separates into a red sticky liquid and grease for the average home owner. I keep my grease gun in a pan, and over the course of a few months, the entire pan was coated with about an eighth of an inch of sticky thick syrup. br>br>So I'd say if you use it frequently and it's on moving parts where it'll keep getting mixed together, it's great; if it's in something that's rarely used, it'll separate and make a mess, and it won't lubricate as well. I still use it in a tub for some things, but I no longer use it in grease guns.

A Product with Serious Doubts! I purchased this Red 'N' Tacky Grease a year ago after reading positive reviews and finding it at a reasonable price
3/5

I've used it on all of my lawn mower wheel bearings, as well as any other grease fitting I could find. My grease gun was leaking a small amount of brown liquid about 6 months ago, during the winter. It's kept in an air-conditioned garage. I didn't think it was a big deal, so I cleaned it up and put it in a plastic bag with a paper towel in case it leaked again. In July, I used it for the second time. There was a lot of brown liquid in the bag. Holding the grease gun over a trash can, I had to drain the back section. When I pumped the gun, a half-brown, half-red liquid loose grease was ejected. My garage stays fairly cool, so I can only imagine how my lawn and garden equipment would fare if left out in the sun in the heat. I have another brand of grease, R. , which I use as a comparison. Purple, which was several years old and sat next to this Red and Tacky. It still looks as thick as the day I bought it. Although I am not a mechanic, I am aware that grease should adhere to the surface and remain thick. Now I have to check to see if any of the Red and Tacky grease is still in the numerous wheel bearings I greased. On the R, I had to give in. Purple because of the price, but I'll be looking for a good grease at a good price again. I hate writing critical reviews, but something is seriously wrong with this product in my opinion.

It's Tacky and It's Red! This grease has been used on all of my equipment for several years now
5/5

I use it on the drive shafts, steering parts, and U joints of my 1980 CJ7 on a regular basis. Grease fittings on a vehicle are a nice feature to have. It's becoming increasingly rare these days. When it squirts out, the red color makes it easy to see. If you spread it with your fingers, it also stays where you put it. However, the tackiness makes it a little more difficult to remove from your hands. Great lubricant.

When it's hot outside, the grease turns to liquid and drips from the grease gun, which is kept in the garage away from the sun and heat

I was able to get my Aeron Chair Air Cylinder to function properly once more! I've tried everything I can think of to fix my Aeron chairs' jerky air suspension cylinder
5/5

I learned the hard way not to use silicone lube because it aggravated my issues. Someone on Reddit suggested Lucas tacky grease as a solution, so I took a chance and gave it a shot. All of my chairs were instantly fixed with just a small dab smeared over the cleaned cylinder. All of my chairs are still working as well as they did when they were new after several weeks. This purchase has made me very happy, and I would recommend it to others.

Great product at a great price, and of Lucas' usual high quality
5/5

Before we installed my upper control arms, we did some research and discovered that MOOG does not pre-install the upper control arms. Ball joints or u-joints should be lubricated. connective tissue They strongly recommend this grease for use on their products, so you won't find a better recommendation than from the best joint makers. In addition, Amazon was less expensive than all of the local parts stores.

I've tried a lot of different greases, and this is by far the best
5/5

As usual, great grease. I've used it in all of my wheel bearings and joints, and it's never failed me, nor has it thinned or washed out. It is something I strongly suggest.
