My left side was affected by a stroke my left side about 4 years ago, and I suffer from dementia and difficulty controlling my movements. Creating new ways to do the same As part of the procedure, I used wire nuts to make the connections, splitting the large supply wire in half, winding the small wire around one leg, then winding both legs together/wire nuts to test everything before taping. There was some confusion for me as to positive and negative on the leds or supply wires and I had two wiring backwards, but it did not smoke or damage The wire nuts were changed, and the wire nuts were taped to the bare wires. When I tried to use crimp on my homeless 5th wheel, there was a mismatch in wire sizes. My team cut out crimps and corrected bad wiring and grounds. I cut out crimps and identified bad wiring and grounds and worked on them. 10 led lights had been installed on new aluminum running boards, soldered and taped up, both the connections and wire harnesses. Red and black colors were used for the color coding. It seems like there were a lot of posts concerning new lights not working, but I suspect polarity with DC current, as all 31 of the lights I installed work properly, even when they were dropped more than 10 feet. The one thing I try not to do is give up on things or talk bad about Globalization is the main force behind the For me, cost, value, and worth, I think this is the right product, especially given Amazon and its business partners around the world, since I am about to retire from driving. Isn't going to get I appreciate it.
I had no issues with the holes aligning perfectly with the factory welded in nuts on my 1980 Plymouth K20 roof. I was a bit concerned when it came to the electrical system and LED bulbs, but everything went together nicely and the lights seem to be holding up. This is about the only option for direct replacement clearance lights from the factory. In the kit you will find sheet metal screws, but if you originally installed the lights, you will need either the original machine screws or new screws.
Although they are not that great, they do exactly what they need to and they look better than the old, worn out ones. There's a wiring hole that's not in the exact spot.
A total of 3 of the 5 bulbs were defective, so I had to buy a new set. It was not impressive in terms of quality.
In a nutshell It is great that Amber lenses and rubber pads are included. My LED bulbs arrived from Sylvania in a box that was very dim, so I upgraded to the zevo ones and they were really.
The truck fits right in ('72 c30) just like the factory units looked great with the exception of the fact that they are a bit dim and I have to move them around some to get them in a position that works. However, they look great, otherwise.
A very good product.
