Questions & Answers
Yes. There are wires and a bulb on it.
I'm not sure how many lumens each light produces, but they're brighter than the old ones I replaced. Since installation, I've had the trailer in the water at least a dozen times, as well as in the rain, and it still works flawlessly. With the hardwire and wiring included, installation is a breeze.
LED lights are generally waterproof, so I'm not concerned about using these or other LED lights on my boat trailer. It's a plus that the ones in question are "waterproof."
We're sorry, but we don't have these side markers in RED anymore as of September 2020.

On my trailer, it was simple to install. My old incandescent bulbs were always in need of repair due to rust in the sockets. Hopefully, this will take care of the issue. One note: Instead of being diffused by the lens cover, the lights are more pinpointed. For me, it's not an issue. The color scheme is bright and easy to read.
Both sides have been replaced - Next season will be ready. Simple to replace with the same mounting hardware. br>br>The LED Light 2 Diode Amber 1x2 also has a smaller flush mount, which I like. Optronics offers a set of five Surface Mount Clearance Side Markers. If your trailer already has that style, these might be a better fit.
EVERYTHING IS STILL GOOD. So far, everything has gone well! But I haven't been dunk yet. UPDATE: I've had it for a long time and launched it in salt tons, and it's still going strong. Buy 'em. The following is the original review. br>br>I soldered them in and they work great, with the caveat that they haven't yet been submerged in salt water. In a few months, I'll update the status of this review. They claim to be IP67 submersible, which I hope they are because if they don't work, I'm going to stop using side markers.
Single stud installation is simple and effective, and it's a great replacement for rusted-out incandescent side markers. The grounding terminal had to be folded up to fit through the wiring hole, but it straightened out fine, and the power pigtail could be a little longer so the splice could be tucked inside the trailer frame. I'd make another purchase.
I think they're worth the money, though the fact that only the small rectangular section in the middle lights up is a little disappointing. You should be able to see what I'm talking about if you look closely at the pictures. They get the job done, but keep in mind that the whole thing isn't lit up.
For a boat trailer, I purchased a pair of lights. All necessary wiring is included, so installation is simple. When I connected the trailer to the truck, it immediately lit up. I've submerged the trailer in water at least four times since installation, and it appears to be holding up well.
These are exactly as described on the website, and they are exactly what I needed. I haven't had them long enough to know how long they'll last, but they appear to be well constructed.
The wires on these lights are too short to reach the other side of the frame on a boat trailer, which is the most annoying issue with them. The wires should be at least 6 inches long, according to the manufacturer.
