I'd had good luck with Vvivid's vinyl wraps, so I wanted to give their clear tint film a try. On compound curves like my headlight, more heat was required than I had anticipated. The end result was satisfactory, but there were a few minor creases. (I used the film just before going on a ski trip. ) I came across slush, road grime, and snow during this journey. The yellow stands out and cuts through the rain. They have a nice, distinct appearance that makes them stand out. However, after cleaning the lights with those gas station squeegees, microscratches and halos have begun to appear. After the winter season, I'll most likely remove these. br>** three months later ** Update on the review The car is still on the road. I've been using this all winter and it hasn't clouded, lifted, or faded in the least. I removed the microscratches with Plexus plastic polish and they are no longer visible.
VVIVID air release tint is a fantastic product; there's nothing else on the market that allows for an almost bubble-free application. Installing is completely free. br>br>BUT this yellow isn't what's on the label. I had hoped for a richer gold color. yellow-ish It's a pale yellow color. Brimstone Yellow is similar to the Oracal 8800 Transparent series' Brimstone Yellow. br>br>I'll order smoke and dark smoke in the future, but not this yellow.
I bought this to tint the headlight on my motorcycle, and it works great and is weather resistant! The installation was a little difficult at first, but once I got a heat gun out, it was a lot easier. However, I would not have been able to install the tint without the use of a heat gun. Just wanted to give you a heads-up on something. br>br>It did not make my headlights harder to see at night, and if anything, it improved visibility by reducing glare from street signs and other cars now seeing a distinct "yellow" coming from my bike, which helps with safety.
On my 2019 Jeep Renegade, I ordered these to tint the fog lights. The fog light lenses have a sphere-like curvature to them. As a result, it's a difficult task. As a practice, I tried and discarded two or three pieces of film, but the end result is less than ideal. Despite my efforts to stretch the center, some crunched up film can be seen on the edges. Perhaps it's due to the installer's (my) inexperience. I'm sure there are some master wrappers out there who can do an excellent job. If they're willing to share, I'd love to learn from them!.
It's fantastic value for money at $10. This color is one of my favorites because it has a very sporty vibe to it. It adheres well to the skin and is simple to remove (it does not disintegrate but remains intact). I haven't taken it to the car wash yet, but it's been a week since I've used it.
Easy buy! I purchased this item to tint the headlights of my motorcycle at a reasonable price, and it worked perfectly! With the use of a heat gun on corners and round edges, installation is simple.
I tinted my headlights with this product. It was simple to use. When heated, the vinyl stretched beautifully and conformed perfectly to the housing's contours. The adhesive was not too strong, and it was easy to adjust. When the film was laid down, it had a good color and it was simple to work out the air. I would definitely buy from them again.
