Very simple to apply; for stubborn areas, use a heat gun and wipe down with alcohol before applying the tint. In the sun, it looks great and provides a nice tint without being too dark.
One roll is enough for both headlights (21x7 inches), both taillights (18x12 inches), and the fog lights, side markers, and smaller lights. I used the extra from the tail lights that I trimmed to use on the fog lights and side markers. It has a good stretch and is less difficult to wrap around a car.
Originally, I intended to blackout my headlights, but I came across this film and decided to buy it because it was reasonably priced; there was probably enough for four headlights, but I cut the portions too large. I started working after a week of watching YouTube videos, and I am ecstatic. br>br>Just go ahead and do it. You will not be sorry!.
I wanted to add something different to the plexiglass on my gaming computer without obstructing my view of the inside, and I also wanted to see if I could use it on my car, but I wasn't sure about the laws, so I didn't. It's a great value for the money because it's simple to install without requiring much skill, and you can tell it's not cheap material. It also looks much better in person than it does in the pictures. I haven't tried it on a curved surface yet, but I plan to do so soon, and I'm confident it will be just as simple as doing so on a flat surface. All I had to do was clean the surface I was going to install it on, then use a spray bottle to spray the surface with a soap and water mixture, then peel off two edges of the material and start rolling it up after lining it up, and it practically unrolls itself with minimal bubbles showing up. I used my heat gun (you can also use a hair dryer) to lightly win over the area where I placed the material to dry out any soap and it bonded really quickly and I didn't have to put much heat on it and it became perfect. I would recommend using a razor/exacto knife/box cutter/etc. after getting it lined up correctly and getting the bubbles pushed out, which were really not a problem at all compared to putting anything on a cell phone screen. to trim any excess material, which cuts well and easily for such a tough product. When you remove the paper backing, the material takes on a small smoky color, but it doesn't block or obscure light. br>br>If you're interested in it at all, I recommend getting it because it's not too expensive and trying it out on something to see if you like how it looks. Installing it won't be a problem, so the main thing will be matching up the design to what you want it to enhance. I'll be buying more as I find more things to use it for, because it's of excellent quality and looks great.
It's super easy to apply, and the color it reflects is gorgeous. This is without a doubt the best Vivid product I've ever received. With just a little heat from a heat gun, the stuff goes on like a dream.
It's a fantastic movie. It was a breeze to work with, and it was my first time, and it turned out beautifully. I love the crazy effect and the perfect amount of darkness. I'll be purchasing more.
Even for a beginner, it's simple to work with; it's not overly sticky, so it can be lifted and replaced; it's a little dark, but not bad; and I like the pulse pattern. It took an entire roll to complete my massive taillights, with enough left over for something small.
