You can wire it directly to the battery. No instructions are included. LEDs run on DC, so they can be directly connected to a The only downside is you will need extra wires, connectors, and hardware to mount the device. You get what you pay for when it comes to the service you receive.
I agree that the insurance is not necessary, but it is certainly safer to spend $5 more and have it.
There's probably some 1x4 pieces in there yes, I think they can be hidden on a motorcycle, u just need to be creative when hiding the wires. This should be of some help!
It looks like there are two wires there. It has a black stripe with a white line along it. There is also a solid black wire, which is the ground wire. It goes to the negative terminal of the battery. If the car/truck body is made of metal (or a metal part thereof). One terminal of an on/off switch receives a black wire with a thin white stripe. On the other side of the switch in the switch is a positive terminal of the battery, or better yet, a wire from the ignition switch that is hot (the switch has 12 volts) only when the ignition switch is on, and not powered when it It is so that you will not accidentally leave your bed light on when it is daylight and run your batteries

It's only been a few days since I installed them, but my initial impression is that they provide an excellent distribution of light, and they neatly tuck up in the bedrails. It's a 2016 Ford F150 long bed and I'm satisfied with the amount of light that I can get with the soft top on or The ability to disconnect individual lights makes it easy to replace a burned out one or repair damage when the cargo breaks one. Even though they look durable and are protected, it's inevitable that things can go wrong when carrying loose cargo and it is nice to know that they are not difficult to replace if necessary. With a magnetic switch on the tailgate, I can turn them on/off automatically when I go back there, and I also have an on/off/on rocker switch in the cab, so I can turn them off on demand or when the tailgate is.
(2017 F150) I have the factory bed lights, however I would like to add some lighting. The tracks are mounted underneath the rails and on my Bakflip MX4. The running lights were hooked up to the existing LED light harnesses (I wired the left rear fixture), thus making use of the existing cab and bed switches. In general, the installation was pretty simple, it took an hour or so. The switch in the bed (pictured and circled in red, in case newers or clueless people like me don't know about it) has been on my truck for a year and I hadn't even noticed it. To run this lamp, you will need to run or tap into a 12v constant and ground. It includes a toggle switch for those without existing bed lights.
Little suckers that are bright and cheerful. We plugged them into a magnetic switch on the tailgate and used a fade relay available for only $15 or less from Amazon so they would be on and off when the tailgate opened and closed. also added the kill switch so they could be shut off if I had to leave the gate down. I also connected the third brake cargo lights so I could turn them on from the cab as well. A 3M VHB tape is already attached to The mirrors are angled to shine inwards instead of straight down because of angle brackets. This seems to be a good alternative to square. I've never used any of the square brands.
My first step was to check the lights before they were installed. In the first strand, the light came out nicely and the pattern was really nice. On the other hand, the second strand was not lit Despite a thorough check of all connections, it still does not work. Thank-you so much, Xprite, for getting in touch with me and sending me a new light strand. The lights are good, and the company surely stands behind its products. Thank you.
It's amazing how beautiful these lights are! This kit contains two lights that I installed on the underside of my Ford Raptor's running boards. This is such an awesome design! The cleats have been on now for a couple of months, and they have held up well to the weather, navigating sand dunes, etc. I am so happy with how this product turned out so far!.
The reason for installing these was because there is no way to see inside the bed when the cover is I found these to be easy to install, the adhesive tape stayed in place well, and they were easy to integrate with Putting the bed lights on my Colorado was simple enough because I had to put them behind the drivers side tail lamp (although I had to shorten the lead wires between each light since I have a 5 ft bed). These came with plenty of lead wire. I would buy them.
2 of the orders were placed A set. The rock lights come in two sets one for the bed and one for the rock lights. Also, to ease the installation process, I purchased a wiring kit for LEDs. As long as you keep in mind that the distance between each light pod is 2 feet, these lights will fit easily in the bed of a truck without cutting power As for the rock lights underneath, I attached every power and ground wire to the pods with an extension plug. The double sticky tape provided with each pod is good quality and sticks immediately. You have a hard time getting 3) I followed up with the small screw that comes with the pod to secure it to Considering how much output these little things are capable of, you can't beat this price! I highly recommend it!.
