Questions & Answers

What is the current draw of this light?

This is entirely false; it consumes approximately 16 amps. There are 180 watts in total. Because most car batteries are slightly higher than 12 volts (typically 12 volts), you get some wiggle room. 5v). In vehicles such as vans and trucks, the voltage can reach as high as 15 volts. As a result, splicing into an existing wire harness, which is typically 14g-gauge, is often a viable option. But make no mistake, you'll need to make a dedicated run from your battery for this. 12g and typically on a 15 or 20amp. for an occasion such as this You can't simply splice into an existing circuit, such as the one that controls your headlights or high beams. You'll blow the fuse, and if you tried to bypass it, you'll eventually burn up the wire, compromising the wiring for the entire circuit you spliced into. If you don't know how to do this, hire a professional to do it for you. Take a chance if you know someone who claims to be able to do it for you for a low price. Even the most inexperienced should be able to do this. It's a pretty safe bet unless you've seen their car on fire on the side of the road.

What is the minimum distance between holes for mounting? Is it possible to change it?

I didn't use the mounts that came with it, despite the fact that they are excellent. br>There are 32 holes in total. 3/4" between C and C 33- I needed to mount to the Roll Bar of a Polaris Ranger, and the factory one was about the same.br>I needed to mount to the Roll Bar of a Polaris Ranger, and the factory one was about the same. wished for a powerful mount it properly

Will these fit between the tow hooks on a Dodge Ram pickup from the fourth generation?

My husband loves his Jeep's Flood Light Bar that I bought for him. It's simple to put up the light. br>It looks fantastic, and we're both very pleased with it. Exceptional product. br>I took two photos of our driveway: The first is a set of Jeep headlights that came from the factory. The second is when Nilight 32 is activated.

It is very effective to use light: Will continue to update review as more Nilights are released: As a result, there was no mounting hardware included with my 32" 180w bar

The colors are extremely vivid
4/5

This light bar has an insane amount of brightness! I replaced the wiring harness with one that was rated for higher power and it worked perfectly. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because there was a major flaw with the bolts and the mounting bracket; the bolts' heads are the same size as the holes in the bracket, so they just go right through. Because the hardware provided was useless, I went out and purchased stronger bolts, washers, and nylon nuts. Great product with incredible brightness. I'll re-post later to see how long they last; I live in Lake Tahoe, California, so they'll be subjected to a lot of abuse and weather. Thanks. Okay, here's an update on the review. After 8 months, a pair of the LEDs have stopped working and are now flashing on and off. I also recently purchased a set of red/amber filter lenses for use in snow and whiteout situations. Last night, I used them and noticed that the bad LED light was flashing and going out. Until this point, I was quite content. They've been out in the snow, ice, and off-roading in the summer. I'm hoping for a response from the seller/company regarding a solution to the bad LED problem. Until now, I've been very pleased with their performance and brightness. If they don't fail like this one, I'll buy their products again.

WARNING: THIS IS A LOW-QUALITY PRODUCT THAT WILL NOT WORK FOR MORE THAN A FEW MONTHS
3/5

It's pleasant and bright. Purchase a wire harnessing kit with a relay for your own use. Better mounting hardware would eliminate the need for me to drill and tap my own holes. br>br>It's been about 11 months since the last update. This is a very low-quality product; after a year of light use in California's pleasant weather, the light is nearly dead. After a few months of use, and as the rain began to fall, I noticed that the light had fogged up and would not clear. Individual LEDs dimmed or died as a result of this. The light has mostly died after less than a year of use. It used to enhance the appearance of my new truck, but now it detracts from it. I'm reversing my 5-star rating and giving it a one-star rating, as well as filing a warranty claim. I'm not sure if it's still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, but I'm not going to buy it again. WARNING: THIS PRODUCT IS OF VERY POOR QUALITY!.

I enjoyed it until I couldn't stand it any longer
3/5

I usually enjoy Nilite products, but this light bar fell short of my expectations. It was installed on the front of my Jeep and worked perfectly for the first day, before half of the bar stopped working. When I used it the next day and the day after, it kind of flickered on again a few times, but it wouldn't stay on for the entire time the light was on, and then it stopped working entirely. The other half began to do the same thing, but it continued to turn on. All of this happened over the course of a week with moderate to light use (we only went for a few short night runs). I'm extremely disappointed because I always recommend the products to others, and then something like this occurs. The pods I have are great, but they do flicker now and then, but I've had them for three years. They've been used as backup lights for the past four years, but the front ones I have are fantastic and continue to work flawlessly after two years! It's just that the light bar isn't quite as impressive.
