LED lights have the advantage of being able to operate across a wide voltage range. They won't be harmed by sixteen volts.
There isn't a way to change beam patterns. It has something to do with the reflectors' shape. The floods (which have a texture) are twelve on each end, and the spots (which have a smooth finish) are the remaining twelve.

Installing is a breeze! So far, everything has gone well! I read all of the reviews before purchasing, and since condensation was the main flaw with this product, I went ahead and bought it. I went ahead and sprayed the entire light bar with Clear Flex Seal! Yes, that is correct! FLEX SEAL is a term that describes a type of seal that is flexible Because it's a 2018 Subaru Outback that's mounted low and behind the grille, I figured why not? 1) There will be no adverse effects. 2) It will shield it from all types of water, debris, and road hazards. Even though I made my own brackets, I still used all of the included hardware to complete the installation. You're mistaken if you think this is the best of the best. You get what you pay for, but there are always ways to make things work. I'm happy with my purchase. I'll keep you all updated on how the on-the-job training goes. in the near future.
So far, everything has worked out. Water gets into it, according to the reviews. I had a few questions before purchasing this item, and I'll try to answer them for you. br>br>Can it be mounted on plastic? Yes, metal works as well, but you'll need to use a nut on the other end otherwise it won't be as secure. It's on my plastic bumper and it's holding up well. br>br>Is it made to last? Yes, very much sobr>br>do the wires come with it as well? No, you'll have to purchase that separately. br>br>Is it difficult to set up? No, the wires are simple to connect; simply refer to the diagram to ensure proper connections. It may be difficult to mount the device.
I had to drill mounting holes, but I didn't have to. On the 10th of May, 2019, we received a new update. Well, I sold my old truck and purchased a new one, but the light bar was still in perfect working order when I sold it. I recently purchased a new truck, and now I'm in the market for a new light bar. I'll be getting the same one I had before, as it has served me well for the past two years. br>12/21/17 Update: I'm still going strong, and I haven't had any condensation yet. It's been through a lot of rain and snow, and it's still looking great. It has been a wonderful light! br>Well worth the money! I mounted it to the bumper of my F150 and it fit perfectly. It was necessary for me to drill mounting holes, but this was not a big deal. Because I had read negative reviews about the waterproofing, I removed the lens cover and wrapped it in silicone before installing it. I've been in heavy rain and washed it several times, and there is no condensation inside, and this light bar produces a good amount of light. It would be nice if it projected a little more than it floods, but it does the job. It effectively illuminates the road for about 50 feet before gradually dimming. Instead of mounting it on my bumper, I think it would work better if I mounted it higher up. The mounting brackets are designed with teeth to keep the light at the angle you want it. Since I put it in, it hasn't moved at all. It's also a very white light, which I like. It meets my expectations and I would purchase it again.
First and foremost, there were three stripped screws on the face of the lite. With screws that turn freely in the holes, how could this unit be waterproof? I replaced the screws, and because I'm not impressed with the QC department, I'm going to apply silicone to all of the unit's joints and seams. Lite has a beefy, solid feel to it. Once installed, it will be updated. Silacomed everything that might be a leak two weeks later. It was very basic when it came to wiring it up. The mounts have a substantial feel. After a few months, I'll update my rating and possibly change it. br>Ok, it's the 24th of February, and we've had a ton of rain. The light is still on, and it is very bright. There are no issues with it. I'm not sure if the silacone and screws I used made a difference, but it does the job. I'm going to give it a one-star rating.
So I've been considering light bars for quite some time. I've read reviews, watched review videos, and conducted research on the internet. I've read reviews for both the more expensive and less expensive light bars. For the most part, the more expensive light bars have better reviews, but I've heard a lot of complaints about condensation and a lack of seal on the light bar itself. To tell you the truth, I decided to give this one a try and wow! This is an excellent product, and I have no reservations about it. It appears to be in excellent condition, with the seams on the light bar appearing to be well sealed. It appears to be a high-quality part, and I'm very pleased with it; I've included some photos of it in use. The light spread was fantastic, and the brightness was incredible.
This light will not let you miss a single blade of grass at night; instead, it will stand out like a half-acre has been missed. What do you think the purpose of lights on a lawnmower is? Well. At night, it's much cooler, and you won't get sunburned. So, thank you for inquiring.
cons: Condensate within the light was mentioned in several reviews, so I checked the stainless steel screws for tightness right out of the box. There were a few that needed to be tightened up. The plastic threads on some of them were stripped, so they couldn't be tightened. Sooo. As a do-it-yourselfer, I disassembled it and applied RV sealant to the gaskets (don't use this, it's too messy). On the market, there are better sealants. I tightened the screws by replacing them with slightly larger ones. So far, I haven't noticed any moisture in the light, but I haven't had to mow in a rainstorm either. So far, everything seems to be working out well. If the need arises, I would purchase again.
The lighting is incredible! I bought this light for my lawn mower thinking it would be "OK" because it was so inexpensive, but I was wrong; it is a beast! I have several other expensive LED lights on my carts and ATVs, but this one is brighter and more amazing so far! I'm astounded by the brightness. I ordered a few extras just in case it doesn't hold up in this hot, humid climate, but so far it's been fine. If you want something really bright, I highly recommend it!.
